yeah I liked how they kept showing Jesse's reaction shot, as Walt's walking over, then being cuffed

like "holy shit... is this actually happening?"

it's a cautious excitement that disappears as soon as he sees the cars on the horizon

hindsight etc. but pretty dumb for Hank to sit there and gloat after Walt just voluntarily gave himself up

That really took me out of it, felt like a gi joe cartoon or something lol.

Edit, random speculation: Todd dies in the shootout, his uncle kidnaps both Walt and Jesse as his replacement cooks. Walt escapes and that leads to the flash-forward.

Than again, that would make the Todd/Lydia stuff pointless, so probably not.

They need him to learn how to become top tier chefs lol. There is no way they are letting him go like that when he calls and sounds like he's in danger, giving them exact coordinates, huge mistake on Walt's part to jump the gun like that. Now his own shitty actions are going to fuck everything up for him, depending on how you look at it.

I don't get why Walt had to write down the GPS coordinates for a location he's been to multiple times, unless Jesse was wrong on it being their old cook spot.
