I missed something from the prior episode. What was the reason for the pic of Andrea to be hanging up in the methlab Jesse was forced to work in? Something they found in Jesse's wallet and decided to hang up after beating him senseless? I can't recall any instance where they'd have known about Jesse's relationship, granted, it's been a year since the episodes where Todd was introduced.

I think they missed a great chance with Walt Jr. In the early episodes, he seemed to be acting secretive. I thought maybe he was in the closet and afraid to tell his parents. They should have had him doing meth, and he flips when he found out he could have been getting that shit for free.

I'm a bit confused on why Walt is so mad @ Gretchen & Elliot Schwartz? I know Gretch was Walt's old flame and Elliot was his bff and partner @ Grey Matter. He mad they got together? That grey matter is so successful because of his (Walt) research? Or the fact they disavowed any knowledge of Walt's work in the early stages of the company?

It's because Grey Matter is so successful. There was even a scene where Gretchen met him for dinner or something and she told Walt she knew they were having money troubles and wanted to help. Walt got pissed and told her off. Another time he was talking to Jessie and told him about the company and how much it was worth.

Edit: also with regards to the ricin for himself... remember in the pilot he tried (and failed) to use a gun to commit suicide. Different circumstances but its not like he'd be afraid to go for that method. No idea how this wraps up in 75 minutes though shiiiiiit.
