At some point during an event they played "A preview of Ramuh's Music" that is exactly the same as that song once it starts up at 1:18. But yeah, if it's named Altima why would it not be for Ultima?

Maybe it was for Ramuh at the point they sampled it to us and have since changed it to be for Ultima? Ultima in Japanese is spelled アルテマ (arutema), which is altima in English.

I had the same feeling going into this album but I listened to the previous OST rips so whatever.

Oh and Ramuh's theme is fucking awesome. I remember that little snippet from the preview for Ramuh. It kind of sounds like something out of Heroes of Might and Magic.

edit.. also, Altima <-> Ultima dispute is all just japanese phonetics at work.

Ultima is spelt A-RU-TE-MA.

L and R is generally interchangeable in Japanese.
U's are typically silent, especially if they're the end of a phonetic word.

Sadly the old Coerthas theme is no longer in the game, or at least not on the new OST. Ansoku1 is the song that plays whenever Minfillia is on the set.
