After some googling, it looks like online support will be patched in at a later date? Can't find a straight answer on anything involving network content, and the store page not mentioning online support makes it seem like it's a local-only affair.

Got to mess with the game for a few minutes tonight. Graphics leave a bit to be desired when compared to the lineup of other 2D sprite fighters, and the combat feels a little slow and clunky in the neutral game.

The music is great though, and there's some pretty interesting system mechanics. Overall it's mechanically a lot like P4A with some twists, you customize your character at the start by picking two out of a list of four moves(two specials and two supers, you can mix and match any two of the four), and also your dash type, either an anime-style run dash that gives you some better movement options, or a SF-style dash that lets you dash cancel some normals.

You can stock up to three super bars, there's level 1 and level 3 supers, and if you have two bars you can spend a second to rapid cancel level 1s at specific points to continue the combo or get out safe.

Other unique meter options are one bar for either a counter, or a guard crush.

Otherwise standard P4A stuff but not as fast, start string, do some sort of launcherish move, high jump cancel into air string and so on.
