Nice, customizing a retainer crashed my client and now the servers are too full to get back in. :< I thought this tattoo on my back was a ticket to the front of the line, you sons of bitches!

"Please wait until an opening is available and try again." How is anyone supposed to gauge whether or not there's an "opening?"

I don't see how this is going to work when the pleb floodgates are opened tomorrow.

As for me day was awesome did a lot of class 20 unlock all jobs Acn to 20 and sadly need to stop the main story cuz xp will be wasted ( I'm at cobberbelll mines)

Bleh server I wanted to go to is full. Any idea if they're raising cap anymore or if they're at the maximum already?

I would think they're going to raise the cap because there's going to be a second influx of people in a few hours when they open the beta to people who hadn't participated/registered in previous phases. Last I checked there were only two servers that classified as "NA" left. I'm guessing they're just trying to balance server load for the beta so that it doesn't blow up.

What is the "normal" number you should be seeing if you have no lag under Receiving when you hover over server status in-game?

Cause I'm getting up to almost 5k sometimes and my internet connection if fine and that seems really high.

Getting some light stuttering that I was attributing to my 35ish FPS but I don't think that FPS rate is low enough to cause the issues I'm having.

EDIT: I guess it was FPS, turned off one setting and bumped me up to 55-60 FPS and it's fine now.

Best bet is to just keep refreshing. It seems to be mostly Coeurl and Malboro opening though.

First day, 19 Gladiator and 14 Conjurer. Get the Paladin stuff out of the way. Will spend the rest gathering and crafting.

Correcting myself here, as of phase 4 datamining by xivdb, there is no AF+1 anymore. The sets sold by Rowena and co are the ilevel90 items.

This means collecting these items is a lot less painful than it originally seemed: mists have nothing to do with these new sets of AF.

I was in a rush when taking the screenshots and so I didn't realize the "base" pieces weren't "base" pieces at all, but finalized ilevel90 items <.<

I've had the same exact UI problems with the blank text, weird boxes etc. sometimes I would have to restart my computer because just restarting the client wouldn't help.

Bleh, made a character and got to naming but now it is forever loading. Can't do anything anymore but look at gear. lol
