Thought it was 6am-6pm P.p? Basing this only on when music changes from day theme to night theme in cities.

Weather changes is every 8 hours (0/"24", 8, 16), day/night is 6 to 6. So it's possible to be open from 6-8 and closed from 8am-4pm.

I can put up with a lot, but getting only a single double mooch between 8-4 and it being a silver shark may be the death of me or my keyboard.

Took me a couple of hours yesterday but I did finally get mine. I just went back and forth between silver sovereigns and that fuck between his windows and if there was weather. idk if navigator's brand isn't too rare or what but I got it like my 3rd cast.

You guys are all using Lugworms for the Sawfish right? Sounds like it, but just making sure. I've never had an issue with them. The Rhamp in Coerthas was the worst two star leg fish for me; can't isolate the first fish of the mooch chain. I've caught all two star fish and there wasn't a single one that took more than two hours. Oddly, the Caravan Eel (1 star) took the longest of any fish prior to the Big Fish patch (just under two hours).

I actually got back into fishing last week or so. Found this neat little spreadsheet after a quick google with time/weather/zone details on big fish. I can't vouch for how accurate it is as I'm nowhere near catching everything, but those that I have caught matched with the spreadsheet.

Also, fuck Halycon Supra. Shit is like 3mil if you buy the fieldcraft3's. Olgoi-KhsafkAGFsd whatever are easy enough to catch, weather makes it annoying like anything else

Just got my Supra this weekend. Saw some cheap FC3s up, so I dropped 3mil and went for it. Dont be an idiot like me and buy 3 MC, rod only needs 1 lol

I spent all weekend fishing. Finally got my Forager's Rod, went around to a bunch of areas in La Noscea and got credit for most of the Big Fish in the area. Got two of the South Seas Talismans from cutting open Gigantsharks. Got my 3 Olgois saved on a retainer and am cutting open any extras. (no Waterproof Cotton yet)

FC 3 are the same price as Mastercraft on my server (500k) so I'm being self-sufficient about it and cooking the tomato sauce and desynthing Artisan Specs. Out of 9 desynths last night, I failed one, got 2 FC 3, 1 HQ nugget and the rest NQ nuggets. Paid 3k each for the HQ tomatos, so it more than paid for itself. It's just a very time consuming thing. I did my crafting in between Heat Waves in Southern Thanalan waiting to fish for more Olgois.

Just picked up my Supra rod 4 days after finishing Forager's. First foray with it? 0 HQ Sardines to mooch with during Twitchbeard's window.
