I stopped using the angler site because the timetable kept glitching out. The appspot one worked really well for me.

Is Supra Rod required to catch 2.3 fish? I just got my Forager's Rod, so I want to start targeting greens when Heat Wave is down, but it's a pain in the ass checking for Gathering requirements on top of weather conditions. I'm at 361 Gathering without food. I'm fully melded everything + foragers except for feet.

I prolly phrased my question poorly.

I plan to get Supra when Heat Wave is up, but when it's not I'd like to try to get the other greens. Should I bother going for the 2.3 fish with only the Foragers, or should I just stick with 2.2 fish until I get the Supra?

I'm using http://ffxivfisher.appspot.com/ to see when windows are up, and it's a pain in the ass to check the Gathering requirements for each fish.

Without food you should be able to catch all but two 2.3 fish. Only exceptions would be Aetherlouse and Frilled Shark. But if you use quiche you can catch those too. Gathering reqs from: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B60...V0WFhpcWM/edit

I caught Nepto today. (HOORAY)
It required me to have gathering +10 fc buff on, but I finally did it.
2 down, 4 to go for final quests.
I still haven't even SEEN Mahar/Shonisaurus weather since the last time I caught Mahar (which was shortly after 2.4 came out) so I'm not really thrilled about my chances, here.

For the fishes were you need to catch X times a certain fish for the fisher intuition, does it "cancel" the progress at the fishing location if you need to swicth the position because the stupid Anti-Bot system catches in?
Trying to get Imperial Goldfish where you need 3x Jungle Catfish for the buff.

Nope, the buff moves with you as long as you dont go off fishing to a different location. If you happen to catch and HQ silverfish tho.. Good luck with that D:

lol I went 1/1 On Nepto, and I think most fishers I know did as well xD I feel bad if you needed the Gathering buff for every of his windows xD

I did it! Fuck those last 6 fish I will never catch them unless new achievements are out. Took about 20 days pretty hard at doing all of them but thank fuck it is over with x.x!!
