Two people in my FC got the ironworks rod this week. They are both crazy fishers! Sad at how it looks though. Should of made it ridiculous looking so it stands out after all the work it takes

Can anyone confirm being able to HQ Mahar at 320 perception? I've seen both 320 and 321 on various sites and that makes the difference of needing to use FC buffs or not.

fyi the NPC who sells bait isn't one that you place in your house, the Junkmonger in each housing district now sells almost every type of consumable bait. Only ones he doesn't sell seem to be the highest level crafted lures. No more running to whitebrim for hoverworms .-.

Guy on reddit reporting that the clam is caught from South Bloodshore using Heavy Steel Jig. He said he only caught it from 11pm - 2am.

These clams are bastards. Very difficult to pull (like fucking Ripper rates) but at least they bite a lot. Reminds me of Matriarch a bit really. HQ rate is poor as shit. Sure you only need 30 clams to other DoL 99 items, but at least theirs involves much less RNG.

Fishing all the fish is still harder, though.

haven't encountered this. have yet to fail reeling one in, but very low HQ rate. I suspect it may require food since the only HQs I've had have been with landtrap salad despite having IW and forager's and shit. probably just placebo

times like these makes me wish we had GP abilities

Went out to Nepto Dragon for my first time, on my first bite I got a message that I did not have enough gathering, I was at 409. The following cast another bites and I simply lose it. I assume the first was an HQ and they have higher gathering requirements?

Also, left the above Nepto early to get a pre-mooch Helicoprion, got it on that mooch, which was my first attempt at the fish. Much rage was induced by my fishing friend who had camped it for weeks lol.

...hour or so later after helico 1/1 Kuno the Killer on my first trip out there...on fire tonight!

...hour or so later after Kuno 1/3 Namitaro, second trip out there...I'll be getting a good backhand from my fishing friend when she finds out later!
