So I notice that there is a Shoni window and head out to Witchdrop. Hook 3 Mahars: Lost Catch, Lost Catch, NQ. As expected.

Yeah I can't even get Kuno's mooch ever. I get the buff for it and in that entire 23 minutes I can't EVER get the assassin betta mooch.

Annoying fact about Legends is you need IW, Lucis or GC buff to catch them.

I was having fun chasing them with 409 Perception. (Supra+foragers+GC buff) But I changed FCs from a 6 person gathering FC to a raiding FC and now I get the "gathering is not high enough" message. So I'm stuck chasing Clams for the time being.

Are you eating food? IIRC the only thing that requires the FC buff with Supra is Nepto.

Finally caught Helio. Namitaro continues to eat my lures like they're treats and I can't HQ a Mahar for my life despite having the max Perception available and eating HQ Haddock.

Maybe I jumped the Gun with my post then. I just changed FCs and failed at Nepto so I stopped chasing the others. I'm capped at 399 gathering with food.

Shoni doesnt require over 399. When I caught that I used perception food, and I believe my gathering was in the 385 range.

I'm also skeptical of the bloody-red requiring that high, but I havent tested it.

I've caught Shoni with 375 gathering and 321 perception, I didn't have fc buff, and used HQ haddock dip. This was about 3 weeks back, didn't take a screenshot.

These clams are making me doubt my sanity. Ive been using HQ haddock dip for the most part, and they usually run away, with the occasional one or two catches. Then I use Shitty food (Zoni, new years 5 perc, some w/e GP) And suddlently im landing 2 or 3 HQ clams x window:.:

This is correct; you also need a minimum perception rating of 321 to HQ the moochable Mahar. With Supra, this requires perception food/FC buff.

I just spammed turn in items. Was a pain but there is no difference in GC points between NQ and HQ so just spam away.

Lucis makes big fishing very straight forward.

I'm reluctant to spend my Seals because I need them for the Zodiac item. I burnt all my Allied Seals which got me halfway, now I'm just spamming leves in Mor Dhona trying to get the rest of them.

It could have ben worse they could have put GP on it like the ring lol.
