Church is there ever a reason to stay MRD after you get WAR? And I assume that using Defiance while solo isn't worth it?

At 30 it's not. After you get the 35 skill it's worth it for harder stuff solo (NMs and shit), after 40 or 45 I've pretty much full timed it. There's been some cases I've dropped it for DPS races but the Wrath usage skills you get are too good.

But for serious though.

250 average damage x 100 attack = 25000 damage

29% crit rate (defiance) = 10875 crit damage

Total damage = 25000+10875-7250=28625 or 37~38% damage from criticals

vs.

250 average attack x 100 attacks

19% crit rate = 7125

Total damage = 25000+7125-4750*1.25=34218

And in a dungeon you should be able to crush most dps anyway, especially shit ass classes like summoner lol.

No defiance is 33% more, not 25%. A 200 hit is reduced to 150, 150 -> 200 is a 33% increase.

idk man, I'd be inclined to believe that you can possibly do more with defiance up considering steel cycle ignores the dmg penalty and you have infuriate and unchained and... well you get a lot of crit.

Talking 'bout at 30 to maybe 40 bro. Even at 50 I can see there being some situations it might be worth dropping. Can throw out IB -> Infuriate -> IB -> Drop Defiance and go ham in strictly timed DPS races. But yeah at 50 you keep it up 99.9% of the time.
