One of the first things I tested on SCH when I hit 50 was whether or not that works. I casted adloq on myself non-crit then spammed succor with it on to see if it a crit would overwrite (since crit succor shield would be stronger than normal adloq shield non-crit) and it did.
Tested it again after reading this post and it does not.

Yeah I always assumed it did. Crit still gdlk for SCH but kind of a shame succor doesn't get that bonus too. Saw a 200 damage Mountain Buster last night, so good.
