I'll say this about the exploit shit. It is possibly real but I don't think it's being exploited by thousands of people, furthermore I don't think it's impacting my enjoyment of the game in the least bit. Gil really doesn't seem to mean to much in this game, unless you want some crazy crafted item it seems.

You know what does impact my enjoyment slightly? That shitty complaint thread and everyone in the whole ffxiv section that seems to fucking just HATE SE on some kind of personal level, yet they are still not only paying for the game but posting about it on some forums. I mean really.

I don't know, I play this game for 12 cents of my 10 dollars each month. I am definitely not the only person in that situation and at this point that includes non-Legacy as well. I only pay to play with my friends for those 122 minutes a week.

I also doubt it's thousands, but to pretend it didn't happen at all when se removes billions of gil is a bit silly.

As to the SE hate, I completely agree. There are things that piss me off about the game (latency), but hey, there are things that piss me off about WoW too, and I keep going back to that shit.

I am still having tons of fun in 14. I definitely haven't burned myself out yet. But then, I am also I guess super casual so it don't matter anyway.

Haven't even gotten around to trying coil yet. @.@;

Yeah 99.9% of people wouldn't have a clue because it's had no significant impact anywhere. I think that's why so many people are skeptical of it even being a thing. The people doing it aren't stupid and are trying to keep under the radar for now.

Boycotting is useless though and I actually enjoy this specific product for now. I have no doubt that they will find a way to ruin it eventually though, or the exploiters will beat them to it.

1.0 sold a lot of copies too.

I like the combat system, or the idea and skills behind it. However, it is laggy and it is inaccurate and doesn't lend itself to precision gameplay. In this aspect, I think 2.0 is better than 1.0.

Boss design, difficulty, story, 1.0 was better.

Loot, 1.0 was an extreme and 2.0 is the other end, neither were/are good.

NPCs, gear, general server lag, all better in 2.0.

Main problem with the game is the large amount of fuck you's towards people who did play 1.0, but more importantly the very apparent lazyness that this game exudes. This isn't a reason to not play anything, it is a reason to hate SE or think they are shit.

I enjoy this particular product. So yes, I /will/ keep playing. Thanks for your permission.

Boycotting is useless and doesn't do anything, so if I liked the game and decided to stop playing it because I think the company is terrible the only result would be me not playing a game I liked. I'm not even complaining right now so you should calm down bro. Stating an opinion isn't complaining. The idea that we even remotely control where our money goes whenever we spend it on something is stupid. Eventually your money is going to get into the hands of somebody who is doing something you don't agree with and if you knew about it would not willingly give them money in the first place. Hence why everybody should support the products they like and not worry so much about where they come from, barring any obvious illegalities depending on what your stance is on those things.

I think they are a shit company because of several reasons, none of which have to do XIV or even XIII. They have repeatedly shown that they don't listen to their fans with regards to other games because they don't value their customer's opinion in the slightest. They don't because they are japanese and believe themselves to be superior game designers than the rest of the world and they are clearly not. Capcom does the same shit and most of us would agree that they are a terrible company too.

They didn't make 2.0 because of the fans outcries about how bad 1.0 was. They made it because they saw the chance at making more money off of essentially the same game, and have been fairly successful in that venture.

So what are you arguing with me right now? That SE isn't a shit company? That's your opinion and that's fine.

That I'm complaining? I'm not. I've pointed out some things I don't like about the game in the past and I will continue to laugh at SE's failures because I find them humorous, but I haven't complained about anything since the start of this conversation.
