Did Titan on SMN last night and now have zero sympathy for any mage in that fight ever. Never learned the fight because I'm a tank and it doesnt matter and I didn't get hit once in 3 attempts all down to about 20%.
Shit is silly easy even when you don't know what's coming or have new bomb formations you've never noticed.

Fight is only hard on healer I'm pretty sure, even then it's a matter of the other healer not sucking complete dick. Shits fun on BRD for sure.

Also I am convinced that plumes is easier to dodge now because before I had to run before they popped but last fight i could dodge on reaction. Also SMN is probably the easiest mage job to do that fight on.

Titan is only ever touch and go when you're dealing with high latency. Even then plumes take a whole 1 or 2 runs to learn the pattern and you should dodge 99% of them, sucks you have to just "know" rather than react but who cares. I've done the fight on WAR/MNK/SCH and healing was definitely the hardest though, whenever the WHM would drop shit got super annoying, but I imagine solo healing isn't bad with DPS who can dodge. After finally healing runs I'll definitely make a bigger effort to dodge though, don't really realize how much you're griefing by eating a stray plume or two.

From a tanks POV I never understood why people were getting hit by anything, I've done it as a DD and got hit by like 3 plumes and one landslide, half of which were 2 minutes after waking up

WAR needs a lot of accuracy for coil, I'd suggest DL legs for sure since they have 43 accuracy. DS body isn't a bad idea though since you can meld some accuracy there and DL has 0. You wanna be aiming for 470~ accuracy in coil. If you're not planning to coil then do whatever the fuck you like, DS legs can have a decent bit more DPS potential. Originally Posted by Zealot
