Don't forget they can still win, they just have to outpick everyone else from here on out. But they're a game behind and they lose the tiebreaker, if you will. Tiebreaker is longest streak to start a season.

I have never taken a road team in any Eliminator, ever. If you plan well enough it's never really an issue. One reason why I took the Colts was Oakland is by far their easiest home matchup, and they still made me sweat, lol.

I might take an average of one road team a year, and it's usually later in the season when I realize that I haven't taken some elite team yet, and they have a road game against a terrible opponent left to come, and I don't like the available home matchups. I'll never, ever, ever take a road team week one. The Patriots weren't a terrible choice this week, but still, week one road game? No, thanks. But as you said, even taking the biggest home favorite (the Colts) was a close call. I don't play around not taking the "Best Pick" until week 3 or 4, at least, when you actually have a good idea who is going to be good. I'm taking the Pats (Jets) and Broncos (Raiders) the next two weeks, although I might end up with the Seahawks (Jags) Week 3 if the Raiders look good in Week 2. Then I'll start planning a little deeper into the season.

It's the NFL. If this were college, it would be easy. (Although an Eliminator with a 14-team league like ACC, SEC, or next year's Big 10 could be fun).

I strongly considered that game, as well, that was my #2 choice. Obviously, I'm glad I didn't. I don't blame you for making that pick. But the Bucs over the Jets? I don't understand that pick, no matter how bad the Jets are supposed to be.
