I meant kinda in correlation to their Sets and Job types. DD weapons all seem to have the same basic "DMG+, STR/DEX/VIT/AGI, Crit Rate, Dbl Atk, MDB" With Crit/Dbl capping (as far as its known) at +2 Same as the Armor. I.E All Melee-Oriented weapons seem to have the same general stats like i listed above, All mage weapons generally matching a direct Copy > Paste of their Armor counterparts minus some augments.
So forth.
Kinda, But some are far worse than others. Dagger is sh*t tier due to an 11 base damage nerf, Sword is pretty mediocre compared to Halac with Augments, and outside of I think maybe a handful of weapons, all are beaten by their Delve Counterparts... I think Gun, Polearm, Katana and Possibly Sword fall into this category... (Sword/Polearm losing to MB items of course but sword'll make a good offhand?)Meh, I wouldn't be so negative. It's not fantastic, but some are pretty nice, others are clearly worse but usually still the next best option after Delve ones.
It's good to catch up, for people who don't do delve or just don't want to spend 30k Plasm.
and Delve doesn't involve a convoluted absurd Random-Number-Generator-Augment system thats horrifically rage inducing, which is i think the strongest argument against Skirmish Weapons +1.
Only gonna cut ya there for a second, I think only Cizin Armor truly "sucks" overall... But its good hybrid gear? the other two melee sets seem to have a lot of useable and best-in-slot pieces... from what I've heard anyway, not sure how true it is... I know for a fact the Otri set makes great tanking gear for PUP lol... the Evasion and PDT is awesome.See? I'm slightly disappointed here instead.
For melee
On the inventory woes, yes agreed. Especially since said items are just (EX) so you could make a piece tailored to each job if you needed too which would be heinous on your inventoryPlus there are more than 3 sets, which means you'll be able to share the same pieces among less jobs, which means you might not be able to completely replace your previous pieces, which means... inventory space! Damn it![]()
Yah, for SMN and RDM I'm very happy with this stuff, for THF some of the armor has potential, but for the weapons i just find them disappointing. Uffrat+1 is basically a great Melee Perp staff, as it pales to Balsam even with Augments... So getting DMG:+ and Perp-5 is the best use for it lol...I can say I'm pretty happy with the mage stuff, aside from the same "jobs distribution" thing mentioned above, I've seen quite a lot of interesting mage pieces. I deffo do want a few for my SMN at least.
