I just leave them up when I triobox, but one of my characters goes BLM. On the first day of Skirmish, I went without the BLM and I got swarmed half way into secondary. Might have been able to do it if I took it a bit more seriously and got some stockades, but there's no point in going back and trying now when I can just go BLM.
I think I will try blu and BLM and geo cleaving and see how it goes blu should give me room for error with all it's AOE stuns.
how do you survive getting swarmed by 8 mobs at once in flee mode?![]()
Omg lol on sylph someone is offering to merc t3+ skirmish and you afk. Why would anyone accept that over splitting pop cost o.O.
Mobs have never reached flee mode in any of the times I've done this.
Regardless, the mobs aren't swarming you. They're swarming the tent thing. Long as you have a decently geared character, the mobs should be going down quick and the tent shouldn't take too much damage.
I disagree, all skirmish is boring. Yorcia is only more so due to all the waiting around for mobs to come to the tent. Running around and killing X number of mobs in cirdas is boring and running around trying to find and kill X number of NMs in rala is tedious and boring. At least the first 2 zones you can clear them faster the better you are, for yorcia you're stuck there the full duration no matter what.
Dunno, I won't argue Cirdas, but I sure had a lot of fun in Rala.
In all fairness, I wouldn't exactly call the final 5 minutes "flee speed" either, if specifically the "flee" bit made him post in a wtf I've never seen that kinda way.
Yeah, flee speed is +100%. It's more like Chocobo Mazurka speed, which is 25%.
The first 35 min the mobs move at below walking speed.
If you honestly had no clue that i meant the final 5 minutes of the event when i said flee speed, thats some hardcore![]()
I still don't understand why their movement speed matters. It just means they move faster from their spawn point to the tent. It doesn't seem like they become more dangerous or anything.
This is true, but on your first go you donno where they are unless you look it up, and it varies based on body. You can also get lost if you don't have a map pulled up or brought feet high enough tier to get the real map. Still, I apologize for implying the NM are "hard to find." Doesn't make the zone less boring.
Get lost? Just the first week when it released... Need higher tiers of feet? Do you actually get map off the noetic? Lol with zone "changes" they are useless.... And is not that "boring" coz 1. You are killing things or 2. Running to find things to kill... In yorcia's you are(after killing dens) 1. Standing up there waiting to the mobs.
So define what's boring.... Repeating the same thing over and over for some reward? Welcome to a MMO....
