    You know what's awesome? BLM. You know what also is awesome? Dark Arts. You know what makes it even more awesome? Seidr Cotehardie. Free Stone5 if you get it unresisted and 0-50MP Stoneja, usually 1-shotting groups of 3-4 mobs. If Stoneja isn't enough, can just do Waterja and up for very little MP cost. Just can't be gimp because you're AOE'ing a group and if the mobs don't die, you usually do.

    Killed a Heartwing today, no loot got upgraded but 6 pieces of equipment dropped, off a 4head/4body/1feet and secondary.

    Yeah, Heartwings give an extra armor drop if killed, I'm almost positive. Just did a run with a Heartwing - tier 2 body, should have been 3 armor drops, got 4 armor drops. Is there anything like that in the old Skirmishes?

    Yeah I just noticed heartwing just stayed on the path to the mobs buffing and such. I went to try and solo it on bst but it's AI got super smart at the last 25% and barely killed me. Seems kinda evasive a bit

    This event is such garbage.....so boring, too much RNG. Atleast the augment items are on the AH.

    Yeah wouldn't be as bad if the cost of the HQ2 stones weren't soooo high. Like make only double the HQ1... or if you could get back at least half the fragments trading a stone in instead of 20%.... or if the acsension gave fragment returns more on par with the balyd lol

    Made map for I body and fixed up II/III (was missing a small path on III, added some missing ascension locations on both). If anyone knows any more ascension locations, especially for Torso I, let me know.

    I got a treasure coffer rank message for the first time tonight, only thing that I can really say for sure is that it was Torso II map, tent was definitely not at 100% hp, happened at the exact second we got 80% message. My coffer spoils were wing x3 before it happened and right as it happened stayed the same. We had at least 1 nest to kill after it popped up, and at least 1 ascension left as we got map 1 min after.

    On top slot everyone in my group got a spell, so if the game attempts to give you a spell your chances of getting arise are meteor is in that pool >.>

    Is there any sort of pattern to the "Greater fortune awaits." message? It seems like the only reliable way to obtain +2 stones, and there's just something a bit frustrating about a possibly random occurrence allowing you to obtain the items that may or may not grant you the augments you want.

    Just to the east of that farthest Bestial Den in the Torso I map, there's a Noetic Ascension shortly before that bottom barrier.

    Well, it seems to happen when you kill stuff, yeah? I've only ever seen it happen when something dies. Perhaps you need to take advantage of the monster weaknesses and its more likely to happen? For example, the funguar and lapinions take double magic damage (someone mentioned what they thought some other weaknesses were earlier in the thread). The greater fortune/stars mechanic existed in the old Skirmish too, but I don't think anyone ever really looked into it.

    It only happens right at the 20/40/60/80 marks when it does.

    For what its worth, Both runs where we Stopped the mobs from getting close to our camp, (T1 Bodies, kept them from even exiting the tunnel to the large area where the tent was), We got an "upgrade" Message and our coffers became 1 star, and on the second run, we got 2 upgrade messages... Which actually appeared to do FK all for our already-in-pool drops... Both times lol, But did appear upgrade preceding drops... Anywho, explained more below.

    *First time, We "Funneled" Them about 40% into the run, next thing told us we upgraded (60%). Didnt notice much, a Few people did get wings the next drop.
    *Second Run, We funneled them in the tunnel from the start. At 40% We Ranked 1, at 60% It went to Rank 2... Again, no noticeable difference in drops that already happened. However our Final drop was a +2 Stone for a few people, and wings for everyone else.

    Guessing there may be a link to coffer upgrades and keeping enemies as far away from the tent as you can... Meaning I don't think the Idea was for us to sit at camp with our thumbs up our ass, but instead to have maybe a core group (1 DD, 1 HEaler) stay at camp while you have other Self-sufficient thin out the herd... a PUP with a WHM Auto can easily take 2 mobs at a time from a heard and kill em easily enough.
