Seeing as how SE hasn't sent me any new emails... I have to assume that the submission that I performed back then was correct. I haven't gotten any region errors or anything, and everything went straight through back then on the 22nd. I even received a confirmation screen that SE would be emailing me later for more details about early access.

They're congestion errors. Error 2 is the only one that means anything other than "the site is getting slammed".

Error 3 and Error 1 seems to be congestion errors, but from my experience Error 3 also seems to make the EU account.

This would explain why I am only getting Error 1 now that they've fixed the site to be NA. I am getting errors a lot faster. It used to take a while to resolve an attempt. It's spitting me out pretty quickly now.

http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ leads to http://maintenance.eu.square-enix.com/ now so, not sure where you are unless it all came down for maintenance now.
