Anyone by any chance got a Early Access code to spare that wont need? I whould love to have one, but cant afford to buy the game right now and i'm not legacy bc of afew days :\

So i might be completely stupid but when i go to the pre order website (EU - http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/) It prompts me to create / login a SE account. I chose login and put in my SE account ID (Same one i use for my account management for FFXI / FFXIV) and it brings me to a different memebers sections i havnt seen before and prompts me for a nickname, DOB, nationailty, Gener and what not. Was this normal? Is the account you login to for the pre order code different than the SE accounts we have for FFXIV and what not?

This is apparently normal and this is the MAJOR problem for NA people. Even if you came from preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com it's linking to the EU version of this page. If you create an account here it WILL be EU and if you magically somehow get your code to register here you will be granted an utterly useless EU early access code (if you're NA).

Ha, even though I've only gotten errors, my profile page of my account shows that I registered the code--with today's date. WTF?

Some people buy it for PC and PS3, which only one key will be needed to play the early access unless they want to play on both systems.
Also, there are plenty of people that have legacy status (Which those are automatically invited to play the early access without a code) that possibly wont need it.
There are also people that buy more than one copy, like some do buy 1 copy of the normal game and a Collectors Edition, for example too.

Personally feel like 1.0 CE should have gotten early access anyway. It's a drag.

I would've prefer if 1.0 players were enabled to pay for Early Access separately, but Square doesn't want more money.

Holy fuck you guys are late. Yes 1.0 players need to pre-order for Early Access if you're not Legacy.
