I believe they are concerned with the fact they are 1.0 legacy with/without CE and preordered the PS3 for the codes. Then when registering the codes they chose their platform to be PC instead of PS3 thus wondering if they will be cock blocked or not. I have this same question.

Not yet, saw a thread on reddit where some people who were continuing to click confirm got it after some tries...think im gonna wait until tomorrow...pretty sure i'll be set for saturday

I heard some people have, but I wouldn't risk it until SE states they have fixed the problem.

when you register the code you can pick pc as a platform even though its a ps3code? seems odd. i have not tried to register due to all the problems everyone is having.

Hello All,

Quick history and question. I actually ordered 3 copies of the game from different vendors and I'm curious about one of them.

1. Pre-ordered and paid for the standard hard copy of FFXIV PS3 version from Game Stop. Pre-order code is on the receipt. No Problem =). This copy is for my daughter to play on her own.

2. Pre-ordered and paid for the full hard copy of FFXIV PS3 CE version from SE. The full package with all the "Fancy" stuff. Pre-order code was on the receipt that came in the E-mail. No Problem =). This is to stow away and never open. I collect things like this.

3. I digitally ordered and downloaded the CE of the game from Play Station Network. An additional save was downloaded which apparently has all the "standard" pre-order items. However, I did not receive any codes or E-mails about a registration code. In addition, No mention of the CE items. Do I need one in this case.

It mostly reminds me of DC'ing at very critical moments and frantically clicking through the 68 menus required to log in while listening to this happy upbeat smooth jazz.

I actually kind of like the POL music. Too bad the actual system was terrible and has caused everyone to associate the music with agonizingly slow updates and errors x1000.

Wow...What a flashback!! I will admit though when I first purchased and installed FFXI it was a very smooth and a less complicated process. In the whole 8 years of me playing XI, I never really had any issues with playonline.

1.0 accounts gets carried over into 2.0 so all you have to do is setup a subscription.

The 24th is only for Early Access and only LEGACY or PRE-ORDER ARR gets that.

No, you can just log in with your 1.0 account and try the game free for 14 days.

No, early access is only for ARR pre-orders and Legacy.

Question for any Canadians who have preordered from EB games, did you get a pre order code with it at all? I have several friends who have been trying to get their pre order codes from EB games, none of their receipts have the codes on them, and EB games are saying they have no idea how to get the codes for them >.>

Then the associates your friends are dealing with are retarded. My friend is the assistant manager at the store in my town and he wrote down the code on the receipt when I did the pre-order. I even saw the list they got from head office with codes written on them for anyone pre-ordering.
