Redeeming pre-order code

All I know is that these niggas better realizes I pre-ordered the CE digital version and not the standard. There will be hell to pay if they state mine as standard.

I knew this pre-order/early access shit would be all kinds of fucked up even when everyone was still arguing about legacy accounts 3 months ago. This alone could damage their brand if they can't rectify the problem. Just like weed, the common MMO player don't wait for nothing these days, lol.

Yes the "actual" pre order codes differ, the code we got from retailers is not the pre-order code. It basically means if you pick PC after entering the retailers code the pre order you get at that point would not work for PS3.

I bet the platform you choose does nothing more than determine whether to give you a PC download link or a PS3 download token. I highly doubt that choosing one or the other will lock you out from playing the game on the one you didn't choose.

OK let's give a legacy exemple Legacy get Head start on PC but not on PS3 so like me who wanted to try on PS3 the head start I entered my XXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXX-XXX code on the preorder site and chose PS3 and they gave me a 12 digit PSN code that doesn't work but that should give me access to both

But a new player who enter the code for a PS3 code will not be able to head start on PC

I think I BOSD'd after trying to read that, ArchDizzle.

It's best to call the code that Retailers gives you as the Pre-Order Code, and the code you get after that, the Early Access Code.

Im registering all the copies I purchased as PC, Ill install the ps3 copy later but Im not burning my extra CE code on ps3 access, if I have the disk I should be able to log in and play on ps3

But it's the code that will link your PSN to your SE account which os normal if only the disk did that you could give the disk to your friend and everyonbe would get the game free? that's not right

You're right on this one Rata. Dunno why people keep getting it confused, but if you want to use the PS3 version (regardless of if you own it on PC or not) you HAVE to redeem the registration code in order to link the PSN account to the SE account and then you're able to use either or.

Blame SE! It's retarded how this is done, but I will go with early access code from here out to make it less confusing. I just want a resolution by tomorrow for the people who are one region and got registered as another, I took sat/sun off since I will be working 10 days straight after that and its my only time to get any real play time in.

That would be correct, yes. Unless they've failed utterly at explaining things in the couple times they've posted it, but knowing that SE and Sony are both Japanese companies that seem to enjoy doing everything online related in some of the most convoluted ways imaginable, I doubt it.

Yes for new players but for 1.0 players (legacy or not) since they get the PC game free they just need to buy tge PS3 version

And guess what you will probably have to buy the PS4 version of the game too if you wanna play on that platform

You didn't, but that's also because the PS2's "network" was little more than a modem slapped onto the back of a PS2. They're probably requiring the purchase to drive up sales, and at least partially because it's going to be piggybacking off of Sony's authentication servers.

Oh i know it's a different system but yes todays game need to buy it twice to activate like PS3/Vita games

Yeah my SE account shows I'm registered under PC (it was a ps3 code though I do want it for PC and picked PC) but I never actually got a 'congrats' email or anything. SE y u so bad pls

I suppose this thread is a good place to ask... for those who pre-ordered the before meteor ost, did they send out those codes? I don't remember putting in any email when I ordered. Or will it be a code on a piece of paper that's included with the cd?
