I also thought Yoshi said there would be a grace period (on ps3 at least) at which time the early access would expire and the actual game disc would be required giving people time to get their copies.

I doubt it, but hey, this is why i took precautions to buy the ps3 version at gamestop and pick it up at gamestop, and pc is digital

So I registered my 18 digit code and got the 20 digit code. One thing I am a little concerned about is I got no email from SE after redeeming my 18 digit code and when I actually put my 20 digit code it said it was adding the mog cap and cait sith doll to my account, but not early access. I know the items and EA were one thing, just don't want to be screwed in the end :s any way to double check EA status? I went to my SE account but only see FFXI/FFXIV 1.0 listed, nothing about ARR.

I have a 1.0 game account linked to X account management mail/account.
I have a new account management mail/account linked to my beta account and that I want to link my 2.0 key to.

Sadly, I might have ordered from online shop using my 1.0 account/login, and I don't want my 2.0 key linked to it automatically as I want to link it to my new SE account (the one with beta).

So quite simply, people that ordered from SE shop using their account management login, did you get your key directly linked to it ? or did you get to register it anywhere ?

I dont think many, if anybody have seen that email. I noticed when I got mine to register it showed all my 1.0 and automatic 2.0 CE items as well so as long as they don't fuck up again we should be good.

The online store does not link keys to your SE account. The only way to link a key to your account is to register it on that account.

I did not order from SE but from what people who did have been saying it shouldn't link automatically. You should have to add it all manually.

Doesnt matter. Your code is tied to your account. Your account is NA

First set of letters will end in a U for NA and end in an A for EU.

Yeah I went to the main SE page and it shows my account as being NA. Not sure why one SE account page is showing me as NA and the other as EU, and my code still isn't working. My only deduction for a non-working code is that it is somehow being tied to one account pointing to NA. Unless you work for SE and can shed some light on the topic.

Someone said earlier in the thread that their server is routed or based in EU. Basically the eu.squareenix address is a passthrough for most of their website... or something like that.
