"What finally worked for me was editing my profile settings. Basically, after going to the pre-order code entry site and picking your language, it asks you to log in. After you log in (you may need to fill in some information) it'll take you to the code entry page.

Instead of entering the code, I clicked my newly chosen handle in the upper right corner of the page. That displayed a drop down, and I clicked the "My Profile" option. That took me to the profile details page.

I filled in the information there and noticed that my language was set to English (UK). I changed that to English (US), saved my information, went back to the pre-order page, and was able to enter in my code without any problems."

This worked for me first try. Thank fucking god.

I'm not going to until I physically get into early access. When I am playing on saturday, I will cancel mine.

If I can't play on Saturday due to congestion I will cancel mine. Since that's the sole purpose I preordered.

Did the language switch, it fixed my account to point to NA but generated the same code for PSN. Going to try and reset cookies.

Hopefully this means everything is linked. Would be better if I could actually log in to SEs account management site and do it there, but oh well.

I got a code from a friend for PC. Tired of this PS3 shit. Added without problem. Now to hope it doesn't effect my account later on since my pre-order is actually PS3. But it shouldn't.

Hopefully they fix the EU problem for PS3 so I can just give these extra ones away to friends. I'm still getting the feeling the EU PS3 people are up shit's creek. Either or that PSN maintenance tomorrow at 3 EST will take care of it. Apparently it knows what type of 18 digit code you have, as my friend tried to select PC on his PS3 preorder code and it still shat out an invalid PS3 code.

Fix for NA Error 3 from the beta forums that worked for me:

Didn't work for me. After changing my info in "My Profile". I went back to double check and the site still goes to eu.squareenix instead of na.squareenix. it saves my language preference of English (US), but the site reverts back to English UK everytime I come back. I've cleared my cache and even went to use a different browser. Still no change. Code still gave me Error 3

So to anyone who got a PS3 code and got it to work, I just got my last code for the PS3 and went into the PS store and after I entered it it allowed me to start downloading the client... I already have the client installed on the PS3 and was expecting it to be the early access download I saw someone post earlier, but it isn't what do I need to do at this point? Also when I got my previous PC codes there was a link to register the code to my actual SE account but there isnt one with the PS3 code is that done through the PSN once you get the early access downloaded?
