I ended up with two FFXIV accounts.....I had 1.0 CE, but not legacy. I tried to get into beta at P3, but something was messed up and it didn't work, however I got accepted via an application and that required me to make the FFXIV 2 account.

Then during P4, it wouldn't let me make an new character on the FFXIV 1 account (original 1.0), so I made it on the FFXIV 2 account.

I applied my EA code to the FFXIV 2, since that's the character I want to play; it also only had the Beta Test Windows option, although my FFXIV 1 account had everything else listed.

Hope it works out.

If the process was simple and worked effectively, there wouldn't be a need to over-analyze at all. Then you could start calling out bitches and shaming people.

It's from when you are choosing which account to apply the EA/pre-order bonuses too. Don't think you can re-create it.

I never got that screen for Ps3 reg. I'm hoping it was smart enough to apply it to my second service account since I did get that screen when reg'd the first with PC and chose account 1, but it is SE...

So for those using the PS3 pre-order code that doesn't work with PSN. It looks like it doesn't apply the pre-order bonuses until you use that code on PSN.
I went ahead and pre-ordered a digital copy from amazon for PC after failing to get my code to work on PSN. I saw the screen being shown, the one if you got the PC RAAU code, that lists all the options currently on the service account before selecting it to apply the pre-order bonus and none of my accounts had the cait sith doll or mog cap listed despite me using my PS3 pre-order code and receiving the PSN game code.

To verify this, go to Account Management > Service List and see if you have the ARR game icon. All credit goes to Spartan for this tip but to elaborate a little more on what he informed us about, if you go to"Playstation Network" on the XMB, Account Management > Transaction Management > Service Lists, you should see FFXIV: ARR if you downloaded it off PSN. Click on that and you should see this.

In addition to this, if you go to "Game" on the XMB > Saved Data Utility (PS3), you should find at least 2-4 FFXIV saves. 2 are from the beta and 2 are from the pre-order DL. one of the two for the pre-order DL is described as "system data" and the 2nd is the save for the standard pre-order items. These should be the two DL's you did when you if you bought from the PSN. The saved file with the items may be updated with content from when you played beta P4 assuming you beta'd on PS3 as shown below.

Hope this helps. Certainly gave me peace of mind. I can rest easy now... Again, credit goes to spartan.

How do you know if the code you got is NA or EU? Mine started with RAAU, I hope that was the correct one.

Gonna put this out again, I have 2 unused EU early access 20 digit codes from yesterday. I am not sure if they are viable or not still, but if anyone would like to try them pm me.

Edit: RAAU is NA, RAAE is EU
