Redeeming pre-order code

Friend finally got his ps3 code to register is there anything he needs to do with the new 12 digit code if he has the beta client already installed

Redeem the code in PSN so it flags the account for early access.

Yes there is. Reinput your 18 digit code into the page and you'll get an NA one.

I did. It keeps on giving me the same code over and over. Tried going into settings and changing the language. I made sure the country was right. Still nothing.

Edit: I notice when I go into my profile page, at the bottom it says English(UK). Could that be why the code won't change for me? I made sure everything is English(US) in my settings. Not sure how to fix that.

I just re-entered my pre order code again and got a US code.. done

You should be able to change your country in your profile.

I realized i didn't write down my code just incase like a dumbass. But i did get the RAAU code, and i registered it, my account now has the game registered. Tho i saw nothing about early access. Is everyone who registered in the same boat as me?

Click on that and you should see this.

In addition to this, if you go to "Game" on the XMB > Saved Data Utility (PS3), you should find at least 2-4 FFXIV saves. 2 are from the beta and 2 are from the pre-order DL. one of the two for the pre-order DL is described as "system data" and the 2nd is the save for the standard pre-order items. These should be the two DL's you did when you if you bought from the PSN. The saved file with the items may be updated with content from when you played beta P4 assuming you beta'd on PS3 as shown below.

Should I be worried mine doesn't have Collectors Edition Pack listed? Or was this the 1.0 CE? (Mine is only 2.0 CE)

Yea you dont see Early Access marked anywhere but you do see the items added to your account. Should be fine. Note there is nowhere atm to see the details after registering it though.

Where do you see the items marked on your account? I notice I have FFXIV on my account but not ARR..>.> though in the 'My Profile" page of the SE Account stuff, i see ARR is registered there.

You can't check it on your main account where your services are listed yet because you can't get into the XIV service section yet.

When you input the early-access code, it gives you a list of everything that's currently on the account (Garlond Goggles, Legacy whistle, etc.) and tells you what else it's adding (Mog Cap & Cait Sith Doll minion). That's the only place it's visible at the moment. I can confirm that if you preordered the ARR:CE, Courl Bell, Baby Behemoth, and the rest of that crap will be on there already.

What I did...

1) Copy paste preorder website from amazon.co.uk
2) login (square Enix website account, not secured/managed one)
3) pick language
4) redeem code
5) got PS3 code
6) used PS3 code on my PS3.
7) downloading
8) during this dl, I decided to delete my beta 4 client.
9) still downloading

My only question.... How do I link my Preorder to my Square Enix management/ secured account?

Yeah I had that, just wasn't sure if there was a spot to go to that listed it again. Oh well. :> Good for whatever.

I think you need to wait for early access and you will do that when first running the game.

Thanks, by the way, early access download is same size as beta 4 client.
Reason I was re-downloading it, I'm guessing its something to tell PSN I have this EA code... lolz

If we are supposed to receive an email after redeemed code.
I'm one of them, have not got any email from SE yet.
Been over 6hrs now. And in UK region.
