Seems since I used a PC preorder code, I can't have PS3 EA. I get no valid service account when I log in. Can't even link.

I thought legacy people got it either way? Unless they haven't enabled it. Either way, oh well. It can wait until the box gets here.

Some were redeeming codes through there. It could also be they forgot to activate the card. I've had that happen a few times.

Tried both and ebgames confirmed the card is activated on chat with a Sony representative

Take it with a grain of salt but i might have found a way to make sure everything's ready for release PC code wise:

My friend and I that registered our key managed to update the P4 client after logging in (very small update) while some other friends that are stuck at the beta stage for now couldn't update their client.

Double-check the region of your PSN account.

This might be a silly advice but have you checked that your SEN account is of the same region of your prepaid card? You can't use a US card on a EU account, for example.

Sony Told me that my account got locked because I tried to enter a false promotion codE (FFXIV) too many times

It's locked for 24h and they are trying to get a supervisor to unlock it for me lol

Last night, the site seemed to take my 18 and 20 digit codes just fine, but I never received the follow-up confirmation email it mentioned after the 20 digit code. Fingers crossed, I suppose.

I don't think at this point anyone received anything more past the 20 digit code registration point

Haha, I guess mine's locked too then. I was getting errors last night after so long of trying to enter the codes.

They said due to security they cannot unlock it and since i tried again 15min ago the 24h restarted) So i have to buy the game tomorrow afternoon

For those people wanting to preorder for early access then cancel your order, apparently thats ok with Amazon. I switched banks and it wouldnt let me update my payment info for my PC digital download copy, I called Amazon and they said I would have to cancel and reorder... Well this is the response I got after asking about what would happen with the preorder code I already used.

"As you requested, I've canceled your order "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" for " Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn."

You haven't been charged for this item, but an authorization may be visible on your account. This should be removed shortly depending on the policies of your bank.

As discussed, this will not effect your early access code that you received with the order.

I already Canceled a registered mines from amazon. I have my GMG EA code installed and I got the 20 digit code on that one. Will be cancelling my GMG order Monday.

It took close to 16 hours before my email came after successfully redeeming my code.
I assume they have a giant email queue stacked up and it's taking a while to process it.
