1 time fix for those who redeemed their code to the wrong account.
Somehow I have two accounts and I don't even know if I have registered to the wrong one due to their horrible site. This "new" site says both accounts are the same but the launcher says my beta account does not have early access, while the other account does...
Yeah somehow I have two copies registered to my account and none to the gf's account. Wtf. If they don't fix it by tomorrow I will have to grab another amazon code I guess.
Any word yet on the region error shit or are they still working on the codes?

So since someone else said theyr account is the service #1. idk. But go to http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/, log in using your information, and see what service has your account.
Ok, I've uninstalled my P3 software from my PC so i can install the game files for EA (didn't have P4 beta on PC). I keep receiving an error while trying to download the new version (the game, not the launcher). Is this just because the servers aren't up, or is something else wrong? Thanks!
I had the same problem with getting the wrong region code. Re-entered the 18 digit code and got the right 20 digit code. Geez, so many codes to enter... We heard you like codes, so we got you a code, with a code that you enter into a code.
I'm still getting "error 1" with the code I have. I'm just gonna give up. My friend is gonna have to wait until Monday.

After dealing with the hassle of invalid PS3 codes all day, I pretty much just said fuck it and went with the PS Store Collector's Edition.
Kinda wanted the physical stuff, but oh well. I was promised Cait Sith three years ago and I'll be damned if I miss it in either game today. Saved $40 too, I guess.
All in all this has been a fiasco in terms of execution, clarity and support. The process itself it not complicated IF it worked correctly for everyone and IF people knew what to expect. However, for those who encountered problems, there has been no real customer support or clarity on the issue which in turn causes confusion and the perception of it being complicated. Forcing people to explore workarounds or their own form of troubleshooting is totally uncalled for. Especially when it's dealing with Square Enix, Square Enix customer support center and Sony Computer Entertainment America. There is an obvious lack of communication between the three entities and much more between them and the community. Granted, Beta was a privilege and pre-order was an incentive but in this day an age with the technology in hand I see no excuse for them to at least communicate a little better with the community to maintain support. I feel as a Final Fantasy Fanatic I'm being taken advantage of purely for my love of the game. I get the sense of "Let them deal with it, either way they will still buy and play the game...lol". Just my 2 cents...
