OK so for anyone having registration issues here's what I did.
since so many people were reporting that their PS3 codes were coming up as PC games, I went in and registered my PC code as a PS3 code and checked my profile and there it was my registered PC game.
Hope this works for others.

I pre ordered from the SE store and I got my pre order code right away, I just didn't get any emails saying I could register it yet, If you SE store guys got an email from digital river or wherever it was from, the code was near the bottom of the email

What a mess, like always. I swear they need to dump Digital River and consolidate their account management systems. This shit is ridiculous and shouldn't be acceptable by today's standards.

Anyways, if you pre-ordered from the SE store your order confirmation e-mail containing pre-order codes should be from [email protected].

I ordered a PC CE and PS3 standard then received "PC Download" codes for both, so I assume all pre-order codes are the same. The only difference is that when you select PS3 or PC on the registration site the code you receive via e-mail will change. PSN accepts a different key than PC.

Yeah, this is correct. For some reason news spread that Square was going to email you the code in a separate email. So when I saw that code I just went wtf.

When I click on the "Make A Payment" button after I enter my Card info, nothing happens. I have done business with them before. Idk what the issue is.

Should be step 3 "Rewards" where you enter the code.

The response from SE support said try again in 24-48 hours. When you actually get the email, it's working. I'm sure someone posted that in the thread already though.

Also this is what the successful 18 digit code email will look like for anyone interested. 20 Digit code whited out obviously.

I am not having an issue with entering the code. I am having issues on step 6. It wont take my money.

Edit: Had to pay with Paypal. I gtg somewhere real quick. Hopefully I'll have my promo code.

Just got off the phone with them.

I can confirm that the service agent @Kaven had is at least giving a similar answer that other agents are. He said the website is having "technical difficulties" and that they're working on fixing the issues.

The difference is, my agent said to try again within an hour or two, and that he cannot confirm if Square Enix will send an email to tell everyone to register their code.

And since it was a question flying around, I asked if the code under "Preorder Bonus Package" on the confirmation email is the same code you use on the site. He said yes.

I'm also in queue for live chat as well, so we'll see if there are any updates.

Well I got my email from SE for a play station code. Now I have the beta 4 client already installed on my console do I need to download this client or are they the same?

They are the same until they tell us otherwise. Phase 4 client was supposed to be release client.
