Redeeming pre-order code

I still haven't gotten my code to work at all....Keep getting Error 3.

I guess I could follow the instructions, though they don't make much sense. I've got it downloaded from B4 and need to enter this 12 digit for EA and etc. I keep thinking I'm missing something in that email that I didn't get.

The website that I plugged into asked for an 18-digit code that was active on the 22nd when I received the email from Amazon. I put the code in and that was that.

This is pretty weird. I'm quite sure I haven't heard before that anyone non-JP was able to redeem their preorder code so early.

He probably put it into the Members site (which accomplishes nothing). The code redeem website hasn't been up before today.

EDIT: I just saw he's claiming it was the preorder.na.ffxiv site. I don't know what to say then.

I haven't received an email from anyone since, other than an SE email telling me about P4 beta.

I have nothing to be told, honestly. I'm just as confused as you. SE hasn't sent me squat today regarding any pre-order. Any and all of my pre-order code information was issued out back when I pre-ordered from amazon and received the early access code.

It said this on the code page:

• Input this code, when prompted, after logging in to the game for the first time.
• Alternatively, please visit the Mog Station here to redeem the code.
• We have also sent you an email with this early access access code and the download link and instructions on how to download the game.
• Please click the button below to download the PC version of the game.
• If you participated in the Final Beta test of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn you will not need to download the game again.

I imagine you can just log in and input it then on PS3 too.

So... for some reason the NA website gave me an EU early access code? I used the site http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and when I try to redeem it I get the error message: "The code's region is inapplicable.
You can only enter codes from the same region as your Square Enix account"

I'm thinking I should just call SE by now.

^ That's the site that was open to me on the 22nd. I checked Kiarax's link and that looks like the 20-number code which I don't have.

I will say this right now: Do not put in your preorder code for now. Their website is fucked up.

Ugh, this is what happens when you outsource different parts of your networks to different companies SE. When you try to bring it all together, shit happens. Don't know why they can't streamline their online stuff like Blizzard does with Battle.net.
