I still haven't gotten my code to work at all....Keep getting Error 3.
I still haven't gotten my code to work at all....Keep getting Error 3.
Yeah that'll work for PC, but my code is for PS3.
I guess I could follow the instructions, though they don't make much sense. I've got it downloaded from B4 and need to enter this 12 digit for EA and etc. I keep thinking I'm missing something in that email that I didn't get.
Well, I got through and after putting in my code and recieving my 20 digit registration code, it now tells me that it's for the wrong region. ( . .)
It said this on the code page:
I imagine you can just log in and input it then on PS3 too.
- Input this code, when prompted, after logging in to the game for the first time.
- Alternatively, please visit the Mog Station here to redeem the code.
- We have also sent you an email with this early access access code and the download link and instructions on how to download the game.
- Please click the button below to download the PC version of the game.
- If you participated in the Final Beta test of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn you will not need to download the game again.
So my code went through but I haven't received my email. Checked spam and everything, how long did it take others to get this?
Were you guys just spamming the confirm button or?
So... for some reason the NA website gave me an EU early access code? I used the site http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and when I try to redeem it I get the error message: "The code's region is inapplicable.
You can only enter codes from the same region as your Square Enix account"
I'm thinking I should just call SE by now.
^ That's the site that was open to me on the 22nd. I checked Kiarax's link and that looks like the 20-number code which I don't have.
Mine says wrong region for 20 digit code too >_> Also the page that shows the code is NA.
PS3 code straight up saying incorrect or invalid when redeeming through the methods they instructed.
Sweet Jesus, just for once I'd like something like this to be simple.
Got the same error, and it isn't our fault. Check this link: http://ffxivrealm.com/threads/pre-or...-16#post-72442
I also went into Live Chat with an agent and this is my transcript from the chat.
We might be shit outta luck.Agent Londin G: How may I help you?
You: It's about the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Early Access Code. I was able to input my Preorder Code, to get the EA code.
You: But when I went to apply the Early Access Code on the next page, it said it was inaccessible due to being out of my region.
You: "The code's region is inapplicable.
You can only enter codes from the same region as your Square Enix account."
Agent Londin G: You may have made it on the EU site.
You: I have it up right now. It's from NA.
Agent Londin G: The only way to confirm the purchased version is to go to the merchant at: www.digitalriver.com
Agent Londin G: You could see if the merchant would be able to give you a new code.
Agent Londin G: If it is the correct region, you can go to: preorder.na.finalfanatsyxiv.com
You: I purchased directly from Square Enix though.
Agent Londin G: The store part is Digital River.
Agent Londin G: Thank you for visiting the SQUARE ENIX Support Center! Take care and hope to see you online!
Agent Londin G has disconnected.
Ah, now I'm getting region mismatch errors with the code I was given after entering the pre-order code. LOVELY.
How do I contact their chat support? >.>
So for the people who got the code to go through did you spam it or got lucky and it worked right away?
Gonna nap, will spam confirm button later.
I will say this right now: Do not put in your preorder code for now. Their website is fucked up.
Ugh, this is what happens when you outsource different parts of your networks to different companies SE. When you try to bring it all together, shit happens. Don't know why they can't streamline their online stuff like Blizzard does with Battle.net.
