I believe the implication is that she was complicit in going with her kidnapper and only said she was taken against her will after he was shot up. I'm assuming the theory is stemming from the fact that she was out in the public eye instead of huddled up at home shaking and crying in a corner after being recovered; she attended a church fundraiser that was set up to help cover the funeral costs of her mother and brother and has done several news interviews and such. There were also records of lots of phone calls between DiMaggio and her prior to the incident, but no word on the content, and the guy was a close family friend so it's not like it'd be super abnormal for there to be contact.

This is the first time people have made an outright implication I believe, but there were a couple of things that I could say looked a slight bit off. Still I think it's pretty pants-on-head to start levying accusations.

I could see how that might seem suspicious to someone but everyone deals/grieves differently etc. You can't make assumptions on how someone will handle a crazy situation like that. And you certainly shouldn't use those assumptions as a basis to accuse someone of wrong doing.

Not when society at large considers English degrees useless and a fool's errand, when no one hires no one with English degrees and proofreading skills, when critical analysis is eschewed in favor of simply running spell checks prior to churning out information, and certainly not when the public education system basically considers comprehensive English to be an absolute waste of money.
