I've not tried it myself, but an FC mate posted
this and it seems to match the Garland Tools numbers. Takes some overmelds, but the worst is a couple Control IIIs, which isn't too obscene. It's not how you'd normally meld -- you're losing a lot of CP -- but if you're gonna replace a lot of the gear anyway it makes sense.
If you have the full i150 set HQ'd, HQ Clam Chowder should actually take care of almost all of the Control gap on its own with only a couple points of melds. I'd personally prefer not to rely on food, but given how rarely you'll be doing 2-star crafts at this point, it's an option.
