Not a terrible recipe if you can get okeanis tail fairly simply. I assume a DoW retainer can do? I don't have a DoW retainer that high.

yeah a Lv 57? or so DoW/DOm retainer with a decent ilvl can get 10 per hour, I got a few hundred saved up
Its probably one of the cheapest/least effort things to make so meh, I'll still do those.


Also I found it kind of funny some no star bonus items are worth more than star bonus lv 60 items... seems a bit odd

Don't know why you're comparing red scrip items to blue scrip items, that's like trying to compare Esoteric Tome awards to Law Tome awards, you always get more Law.

If you meant to compare the Liver-Cheese Sandwich with the Cock 'n' Balls, scrip calculations are directly related to the number of ingredients, but yeah that's still weird.

Pretty sure he's comparing the star'ed Liver-Cheese sandwich at 26 blue scrips to the non-starred 1 level lower Cockatrice meatballs for 30 blue scrips and not the red yeah.

Blue scripts were never tied to amount of ingredients before and that's still not the case otherwise my Marron glacé that I had after reset yesterday (and today until 1pm) would now be nerfed and not worth 31 starred. Blue scripts are static figures but maybe they changed some of the recipes that nobody bothered doing to reward more blue scripts?

I didn't say number of unique ingredients. Marron Glace is a 5-ingredient recipe, 31-starred seems perfectly reasonable.

I'll admit, I only gave them a cursory glance, so I can't say for absolute certainty that's how it works, but everything seems to line up with # of ingredients so far.

yeah my photoshop skills aren't amazing, its just the star bonus for scrips Lv59 recipe gives almost as much scrips as a no star Lv57 recipe, while the Lv58 recipe gives a lot more. Just seemed a bit odd ;/

Is it purely number of items because Dragonscale Grinding Wheel or whatever which is 5 items total (2 Birch lumber, 1 Aurum Regis Nugget, 2 Dragon Scales) was giving like a base of 48 yesterday which is almost double what it did pre-patch. But 3 unique items, 5 items total doesn't seem like a lot of mats.

Probably slightly modified by ingredient type (crafted vs gathered vs drop), or possibly every ingredient has its own number and the game just adds 'em all up to decide the final number. The ingredient count thing was just a general observation and clearly isn't the whole story, but I highly doubt anyone cares enough to try to figure it out for blue scrips (I certainly don't).

Do you not know where the NPC is that trades you stuff for them, or are you asking that existential question of why you're bothering with them at all? I haven't spent any of mine yet either.

I haven't done that yet for fear that I don't meet the thresholds (I'm still using the lv58 gear stuff bought with Blue Scrips because there's zero reason to upgrade right now). I'm sure the information is out there somewhere, I just haven't looked for it yet.

The advantage is you can craft your own i170 crafter gear and meld it. Downside is trading in for those mats like purified coke requires crafter red tokens. I'm just holding onto mines for now because I don't see the point in throwing gil at it until a new tier of craft recipes are released.

They require a 530+ collectibility item. I've been using the rotation that lets you get 2-4 items per node.

What is the 530+ rotation?

edit: wait, I'm just really looking at this for the first time. There is NO left-side crafted gear for DoL except waist? It's ALL red script gear? Well my fisher is never getting geared, holy hell.

This crafting/gathering patch/expansion becomes a bigger clusterfuck the deeper I get into it, jeeze.
