You can get up to 4 per node depending on luck. 2 minimum as usual if no luck, so it is worth doing. For the items off nodes via folklore, I was only able to do the same rotation when I got minekeep pickaxe.

Went to try to craft it, no.. you have to build the entire house in order. The wall, the roof, the door, the window, and THEN the fence. The wall and roof themselves have 3 phases. It's over 1000 mats involved. I just wanted the fence...

Rushing the large Merchant's on the first day of HW was awful. But the real barrier is the light party requirement.
