Someone posted on xivdb all the mats required to make the airship pieces so bless them. Not sure if they done that for housing parts as well, but making all items at once to knock out all the phases was very helpful to not waste others time being there

You can bring in outsiders, just need to have 4 people in party, on site on DOH.

I usually just craft in the workshop while our FC airship person does their thing. Occasionally I have to submit mats because he doesn't have the craft job high enough.

I don't know how you guys can claim it's not a hassle. In my FC there's roughly 3 of us that give more than zero fucks about FC crafting/airship, so it's always a big ordeal. I've had a craft ready to advance for... 2 weeks now? I skipped the entire Invincible stage of my airship because by the time I was able to advance things, I could make/use the Enterprise. I could probably get 4 people down in the basement, but once I get started, I'm going to want those four people to STAY PUT while I knock out multiple stages, and getting people to stick around is the real hard part.

Asking anyone (even those in the FC) that don't care about FC crafting is like... hey, can I waste 100% of your time for a while?

You can, but really it just begs the question: why even have this unnecessary restriction to begin with?

It's not like you've got the four people building something in a montage, with some endearing moments and comedic accidents.

Has anyone figured out how high your stats need to be to effectively hit 470+ collectibility on the folklore node items? I was hoping I could use them towards capping my red gatherer's scrips faster now that I have all the MIN/BTN folklore books, but the rotation I'm using for Adamantite Ore/Chysahl Greens doesn't seem to be enough, plus I have to waste 2 swings to uncover the node, and the random GP discount buffs keep throwing me off. I'm currently sitting at 616 Gathering and 601 Perception, and was hoping I wouldn't have to blow a ton of gil on tier IV forbidden melds. I can get one of the mainhand tools this week, but I'd have to cap my scrips first.

After checking my log, Discerning Eye -> Methodical was giving me around 127 collectibility on the Sun Mica node. Using this guide, I assume I'm gonna need some more melds...

Think you can only get water from fish, don't know anything about 3.0 fishing tho.

You can get water crystals from logging in Sea of Clouds (where the birch is), but it'll be fairly slow.

well, you can for sure get at least 1 collectible from those which is still an extra one on top of other stuff. i have 698 Gathering/673 perception with no right side melds outside the earring (because I'm too lazy to meld the newer non-master book accs)

Yeah I was off a few hundred points from that post, its around 680ish. But really, one collectible @ 13/14 scrips isnt worth the cordial/travel time to it, I just stick to chysahl/adam.

Unless I guess you can only do mnr or btn rotations, but I dont think I´d bother even then.

Is there a reason Fieldcraft IIIs are still not obtainable from any new or convenient sources?

After getting all the Master III books I thought I'd go back and pick up the IIs I didn't have (pretty much for completionist sake/boredom), only to realize the price of Field IIIs has not changed at all and I'm not spending 1m+ for a bunch of useless recipes.
