Figuring parry+6 of course then acc+det. Would anything...odd be worth it for a tank? Spell speed? Piety? Status resists from wolf marks? DEX? Water resist for levi? idk

Based on the arrangement in patch notes, it looks like "just" Spruce Plywood (tool/hat fodder) and Ancient Lumber. The furniture and minion are there from the start.

prices took a dump recently.. HQ stuff is about 800k, although I did sell some HQ Gold Spectacles for 2 million :D

Also, im curious about people's crafting rotation for the 445 difficulty crafts.... here is my rotation...

I have to hasty touch to save cp, I can get some cp back if GOOD procs on the first 2 moves, and then use a basic touch in place of hasty touch.. what rotation are you using? takes me 7 careful synthesis to complete these crafts... ive also concluded that 391 craftsmanship is all you need, more is not needed. Best setup is new tool, head.... max materia on everything else, but offhand, go for 11 control, 3 cp, and no craftmanship, you can hit 391 without any on offhand

Notes : If you hit Comfort Zone and a "Good" procs hit Tricks of the Trade
If you hit Inner Quiet and a "Good" procs hit Tricks of the Trade
Replace Hasty Touch with Basic Touch per extra 20 cp
5th Hasty Touch is total luck since its not under Steady Hand II
If "Excellent" procs on Ingenuity II before Byregot's Blessing, skip
Innovation.....
Best case scenario.. all Hasty Touches work, giving you 7 Inner Quiet

So I blew up the first Levi EX barb on Cactuar. Was 801 progress with water aspect. I had to use control food cuz I'm not perfectly melded. I have 391 craftsmanship and 323 CP using control food. I just couldn't fathom a possible rotation to actually even finish the progress.

Any ideas, now that I'm out a few hundred k? lol

For a furnishing? What happened? Need no quality so it'd just be using ingenuity 2, steady hands, and brand of water and maybe a single mend-type action. Should have been something like 200-250 ish cp.

Brand of water with IG2 was giving me like 55 progress, lol. It was brutal. I was doing IG2 + BoW with CZ on and using MM2 when needed. BoW is 15 CP per though so that was an unexpected CP drain.

Looks like (at least some) *** crafts do not obey the normal pre-2.2 rules of the game.

For example, when crafting Spirits of Salt (** ALC turn-in for tool/hat), with the i70 tool I get 55 progress with CS2 and 101 progress with Ingenuity+CS2. However, on *** Terminus Putty, I still get 55 progress with CS2 (when I should get less, if the extra star is still implemented as a level penalty) but I only get 60 progress with Ingenuity+CS2.

Are you taking into account the fact they changed Ingenuity in 2.2? They also mentioned the changes to Ingenuity wouldn't be apparent on 2-stars or below.

I didn't see the changes to IG, though I guess it makes sense; without a level cap increase, IG would become more and more crucial. Are the changes reflected in the tooltip or help text? Does IG still raise the level of synths below 50?

It still doesn't make sense that I would get the same base progress on a ** and ***, though. There's some change in the way *** penalties are applied (as stated, maybe a cap).

It just says "Lowers recipe level" on the tooltip now (add "Slightly" for IG1). I haven't actually tested to see if it fixed the issue with synths under your level, but I doubt anyone actually cares.

Iv used reclaim 3 times crafting. Each time was because I just was not really watching and got a excellent at a bad time and missed it. And iv never retained shit lol. I googled after the 3rd time to see if it was bugged and saw nothing. Made me so mad that my luck was that bad.
