Well known, or at least I knew, though I didn't know you got 3 from it. Has there been confirmation that the headgear can also desynth into those? I keep hearing people leveling desynth to break the DoH/L hats, but I haven't actually heard anyone's results.

I would hate to grind 50 of those HQ mats just for a chance at those, but the hats are far more tolerable. I currently have enough logs/ore for 4 more DoL hats, but my WVR isn't up high enough yet (~30% success rate). I made the mistake of thinking they were LTW and took that to ~60 before I realized the damn hats were WVR.

Can personally confirm, yeah. Artisan's Spectacles definitely desynth into Mastercraft.

0/15 on Artisan Specs from d80-89. I've come to the conclusion that there is some kind of Tier system with Desynth level.

Eg. Artisan Specs have 10% chance to drop MasterDemi/Feild3 with 80 dskill vs. 40% chance of dropping with 100 dskill. Essentially forcing us to grind it out to d100 for better odds or get lucky desynthing the specs early.

There's at least 6 MC3 on MB here on Cactuar, but we have a 95+ GSM Desynther as well.

used 60 materia to pentameld 5 gold specs. First one broke at 73.x%, 4th one broke at 75% :^)

For those of you desything Gold Spec w/ quad/penta and Artisan Specs, how many skill points are you gaining per desyth?

These are all rough numbers:
89 was .30-.36
90 is .26-.33

According to this screenshot, the gains remain decently high all the way to d100.

our first garuda HQ wep sold for 8mil. so take that as you will, people have to much gil and you will make off them

then again I spent around 2.5~3mil on striking dummies. ~_~ so im not much better(fyi you can LB people in the zone)

I was wondering how much the weapons would sell for. I was dumb and unloaded my moogle materia for cheap early on, kinda wishing I didn't. I'm like 1/20+ on materia from any weapons.

I just finished my 5th i75 tool, Pinga Supra (lol Super Cock), and I can say that it's the Fieldcraft III grind that truly sucks. People have tanked the price of the Mastercraft Demimateria on Gilgamesh, so they're not even worth selling over holding onto. I'm 4/3 Mastercraft and 0/10 Fieldcraft III towards my next tool. Oh well, the grind.

For those wondering, for i75 tools, I did GSM >> WVR >> BOT >> MIN >> LTW

Grats! Did you end up going the Gold Spec route on ur GSM? How many i90 jewelry did you desynth to get from 90-100? Also when did you start seeing the Masters Drop from the Artisan Specs/Main Tools? Before d100 or after?

I'm currently 0/15 on the Artisan Specs from d79-89 (No Masters or Field3s) and imo, i have come to the conclusion that the drop rates increase as your dlvl increases.

Eg. d89 skill gives 10% Master/Feild3 Drop rate. d100 gives 40% Master/Field3 Drop rate.

Gold specs are the only real route for GSM if you don't want to do it snail-slow; yeah that's what I did.

I only ever saw Mastercraft after i100; however I can't confirm if it's just bad luck, or some kind of increase with ilvl. If I have to venture a guess I would say it's the latter.

I got 2 Master and 2 Field3 out of maybe 12 Artisan Specs i desynthed, 4 or 5 of those failed. My Skill was sub 80 when i did the first ones.
