I was wondering how much the weapons would sell for. I was dumb and unloaded my moogle materia for cheap early on, kinda wishing I didn't. I'm like 1/20+ on materia from any weapons.

Someone did the same here, put two up for 100k early. Since then not one has sold under 900k and only about 4 or 5 total on the market period.

I got 2 Master and 2 Field3 out of maybe 12 Artisan Specs i desynthed, 4 or 5 of those failed. My Skill was sub 80 when i did the first ones.

Dang well there goes my theory! Guess i've just had terrible RNG. I'll keep grinding them out thx!

I was around lower 80ish, and out of 17 successes, I got 3 fieldcraft and 1 master.

OMG I got lucky...... I failed trying to make lv95 Ifrit Battle Axe but got all my mats back...



I was at 98% HQ and about to do my 3 careful synthesis to finish it off... but I didnt know that fire aspect reduces progress..... I need a new formula.... just happy atm that I didnt lose the 3 million gil + I spent..

What fish you guys desything? I am at 50ish now not sure which to use.

Edit: One more clueless crafter question, I do NOT have ing 2 and pbp (working on them) but want to start trying 3 star leather worker stuff to get familiar with them since mats are pretty cheap atm. I am max melded, was wondering if anyone has insight to circumvent the lack of 2 vital skills.

Hold up! Theres a small chance u get your items back when u fail a synth? I've never heard of this!? lol Is this on all items in the game or only these primal weapons? That is crazy!

It's a very rare chance of it happening, probably like 5% w/o reclaim.

It is not that rare. Sub-50 I have this happen probably at least 50% of the time I fail a synth, be it final product or material. I haven't really tried to make much 1-star or higher. I suspect it scales with some other factor.

Yeah, but you normally lose desynth skill points any time you desynth on another class (even when you aren't at 300 yet). I don't see why that would be any different at 100.

I had like a billion stacks of Sludgeskippers and Ilsabardian Bass on an alt, this has taken him up to almost 70. The skill per fish has slowed dramatically though, like 0.0x.

Not going to say "no you can't" outright, but as those are botany items now, I think that would be highly unlikely. They are definitely not fish (classified as Reagents).

I'm at ~77, that's basically what I did.

Northern Pike -> Ilsabardian Bass -> 48-50 Fish from Natalan skyfishing -> Mahi-Mahi/Silver Sovs.

A friend of mine did Pirarucu, those are pretty good.

Still trying to get that pareo...

Well using csII under ing2 gives you 70 progress on each synthesis. Not having PBP changes your rotation from 5 synth actions to 7. Ingenuity does affect your BB but not as severely as with lower ilvls. How much CS8 gives you under ing1 i'm not totally sure. I would imagine it to be something like 65 at best so be prepared to do 8 csII.

Yeesh sounds tough to squeeze quality in there, Rapid synth is prolly a big no no for 3 star I assume. Guess I will just mess around see if I can get some HQ's out of luck.
