The only i90 stuff I see are the augmentations (desynthable? idk) and upgraded primal shit, so I'm going to say there's nothing really feasible in the i90 range.
Actually for i90 your only real option looks to be the AF augment part.
Edit: Beaten again ~_~
Ugh that sounds terrible, guess a lot of the craft classes just have to wait and hope in patches for stuff.
Any macros for grinding out saurian leather? Bought a ton of skin to level desynth, but rather than ingenII+csII all the thing, figure I'd get some HQ out of it.
crafts 398, control 386, CP 351 are my stats. 2 button is fine if need be.
I use this posted about 6 pages back.
Its 5 button presses, 2 of which require you to check the synthesis (for CP values/quality procs)
Its Elasia's macro from the OF:
Spoiler: show
I was getting something like 50% HQ on gold ingots and term putty. So you just run the macro for gold specs with either 1 hq ingot or 2 hq putty and call it a day.
It does have an unprotected hasty touch. But for a 10 touch macro it does the job. I do use food and I probably wouldnt change the unprotected hasty even with new cp levels. That value will go towards hitting 113+ finishers more often.
That screenshot makes me realize how lazy my server is. They're 500k/200k here, with no signs of any stimulation coming, so they're likely to stay that way.
Oh well. I've made 4 of my tools so far without buying anything. I'll continue to do so then make money off the lazy.
Anyone who has done i95 weapons before have any tips? Might try to make one soon since I got the mats.
Update: Got a HQ murda mog fist, I chickened out and basically did progress first. 3 pbp then 3 ing SHII(at the end). 1 MM II, 1 Mnp, 45% chance at hq with a couple ToT procs and could of definitely done more but didn't risk anything on basically 6 mil worth of mats.
On Leviathan, Titanic Sawfishish are on the MB for 500k, and people are buying them. MC demi's are 325k, so that's a no-go. Field III's around 475k.
The Gigantshark/Octomammoth bathing suits are flooded on the MB. They're up for between 400-700k, but supply is far outpacing demand.
Managed to catch a Twitchbeard...one up for 1mil, one sold for 650k. 69% chance at d89 CUL to find out what's inside of it.
Where do I start de-synth stuff? Quest, just right click and go, etc?
Nevermind, answer was in the patch notes. Still stuck in ffxi land where nothing was ever told to you, ever.
OP is in drastic need of updating. How does Ingenuity 1/2 work mathematically now? Do those progress/quality formulas still even work for the 3star synths? Trying to napkin math to see if I can macro a 3star synth.
I updated Ingenuity and Piece By Piece. I suppose I can also edit in the difficulty requirement for the ** macro (as it doesn't work on the mastercraft mats, for example).
I don't believe this part of Ingenuity I/II description is correct anymore, since the descriptions removed any reference to the user's level.
Never use them on a recipe below your level, as (for a LV50) they will RAISE the recipe level.
Should be easy enough to test. I'll check it later.
Pretty sure it doesn't raise them any more, you are correct. Don't think it confers a benefit though either. At work, or I'd double check.
By the way, I improved my control sample a lot since I first tested the formula on the front page. I posted those results back in October, but it seems to have been overlooked. Essentially, I found that a binomial function fits much better than a linear one when you start to include a broader range of control values than my initial sample (like up in the 1000 range).
I'm on a phone so copying the results here would be a pain, but you can see post 578 in this thread for details if you like.
As for craftsmanship... the much smaller values and greater impact of rounding makes finding a best fit a pain. I eventually just grew tired of trying and have just tested a synth on cheap food or something if I need to. Breakpoints would likely be more useful and accurate than an approximate formula, but I might revisit my efforts.
Regarding three star penalties, I've been considering doing some tests on three star food. Will post results here if I do.
