So here's who makes what (head is excluded because obvs):

Artisan's:
body- ??? (not in patch notes)
hands- LTW
legs- WVR
feet- CRP

Forager's:
body- WVR
hands- LTW
legs- WVR
feet- LTW

all offhands are BSM except GSM/WVR (which are CRP), as usual

is this in reference to the number of oaknots required? because if so then fuck...

So you need 108 days of oaknots (648 knots) to get all of the Forager/Artisan offhands, the Artisan feet/hand/leg, and the Forager feet/hand/leg/body.

The grind is real.

Or rather, for just new Artisan gear (no offhand) you'll need 72 knots, new Forager is 108 knots, the rest of it is all on offhands.

yup, and thats why I'm glad I've saved up and been working on the tokens daily without missing a single day...

I pretty much was doing what Shaano was doing, I was just waiting till 2.4 to do it. I mean, its basically 20min for some crafting materials, ventures, and a day worth of teleporting so why not? I'm not one to turn down "nearly free" for so little effort

Yeah, I couldn't be bothered with that after feeling burned by the initial two beast tribe dailies. Now, I'm wishing I had done them anyways.

Also debating saving gil, I feel like flying mounts (that aren't crappy) will require a lot of materials/gil to make... if you've played wow, it had "slow as shit" cheap mounts, and for lots of gil really fast flying mounts. I feel SE will copy that, so may hold off buying a house...

New Artisan gear has three 100% materia slots and HQ versions are indeed better than class specific gear. Well, materia prices are going to be crazy over the next several weeks.

Any idea of the recipe level for Artisan/Foragers? i60/70 crafted being 4 star seems a bit harsh, especially since those Ixali items aren't HQ and the specs/mainhand weapons are a joke to obtain in comparison.

Annoying as shit how specs will be the only non-HQ part of the set.

3 slots will be a lot less painful when it comes to overmelding, plus all jobs, so yay. Fuck overmelding offhands again though, seriously.

So apparently there is a new set of Artisan specs (underrim glasses in the Japanese data mines Gulkeeva posted) that can possibly be HQ'd like the rest of the set. NQ stats are the exact same as the current i70 piece. I am guessing Materia slots also. Yay!

The whole NQ set is probably intended for people catching up, like an i60/70 Patrician's. HQ + Materia will be required for 4 star though I think.

More like a moment of silence for all the gil to soon be lost from the obscene influx of buyers. Hope you saved up tens of millions of gil! (both crafting mats to spiritbind, gear to spiritbind is going to be insane too) unless...! like I mentioned earlier, you can't trade anything but the finished crafted product, effectivaly gating all that crafting stuff, so prices will drop fast, like it did back in the days of the nexus scare for materia

Didn't manage to save up tens of millions, but I do still have about a full stack of each of the tier 3 crafting materia and some CP IVs, glad I kept those. Command and craftsmanship IVs is a different story entirely. I'm going to be so poor in a few days.

I have a feeling, its going to take mostly IV's or possibly even sneaky ninja V materia to cap stats on these things (SE did give us V materia melding stuff in the past) I would not be suprised if they excluded it from patch notes either, considering V materia melding stuff was never mentioned in notes.

Personally imma ride the (hopefully) fate zerg rushes and probably endup spiritbinding with the slower ninja fate zergers in north thanalan.

iirc it has to be close to your ilvl, so I guess running Ampadoor and shit will work but not higher level places.
