So is there not a way to lock 2 desynth crafts anymore? Just did the typical desynth 2 trash items and my BSM deleveled desynthing allagan stuff on 2 consecutive synths. The second item I desynthed before allagan was GSM so seems like maybe that locked, but I'm not even sure with small sample size.

Anyone desynthed much of the old myth gear yet? I'm expecting i90 materials such as Gold Ingot, Cashmere Cloth, Saurian Leather, etc. Is that the case?

It is; got a ton of gold ingots from accessories.

Just to follow up on this; looks like the only change is that you have to be on a DoH and everything is fine; I was on PLD at the time and that didn't make a difference before update, but I guess it does now.

Edit: Nope, just releveled BSM and did a GSM > BSM > WVR desynth and BSM deleveled again from 100. This is going to be fucking annoying.

Got a few HQ offhands , but yeah its going to take some.. major theory crafting of something to even figure a decent way to get to 50% HQ for the things >.>

The offhands look like standard 3 star synths (difficulty, quality, durability wise) so they shouldn't be bad at all, but I haven't tried them; it's the 4 star stuff that'll take theory crafting.

With all HQ mats the quality starts at around 600's

I saved up 80 accessories before the patch hit and just finished desynthing them. Its 70% success at level 100. You get 1 wind/fire cluster .Small sample for now but here are the results:
Breaks x 29
Rose gold ingot x 26
Rose gold ingot HQ x 8
Clear demateria III x 5
Battle craft demateria x 7 (3 were double and 1 single)
Gold ingot X 8
