Well the point of a token system is so people dont have all classes maxed out and can craft everything right away. Adding one now when everyone can already craft everything without any token gear is really pointless.

What are you guys gonna do with your sealants? Sell em off and save the oaknots or what?
i'd say given that the incentives to do ixali dailies are being increased, they'll tank. better to get rid of them while they're worthwhile. y'know, assuming the patch notes aren't being a huge cock tease and the incentives are actually being increased. either way, safe to say they aren't going to increase in rarity or anything, they'll always be what they are, or lesser. likely the latter.
following their logic of pushing content downward
add new rewards that involve completing ixali dailies
more people will flock to them to proceed through the new content
people that don't need the sealants anymore will lower the price naturally, anyone that watches the MB knows people are idiots about their sales
gear becomes more obtainable for the casual market due to price drops
more 4* crafters
more people getting the new tools, but will likely only happen a few weeks - a month into the patch for the majority
easier crafting in general up until expansion
but alas, it's all speculation.
sad, wish they'd give us a reason to do the other tribes. ixali have gotten way too much love over the others.
Yeah that's what I was thinking honestly.
Agreed. It's fair to draw a comparison between Hunts (at release, specifically) and Ixali dailies. Oaknots are so bloody useful that, although we could just buy the things off the market, we do the dailies due to their efficiency. For all the effort of a daily roulette, players can make millions and passively become an omnicrafter over time. I'm not convinced SE can differentiate between 'the players love this content!' and 'the players feel obligated to do this content!'
And soon, with even more added rewards, Ixali dailies have morphed into the de-facto crafter daily roulette. It's our tome system. Due to its popularity, it's entirely possible that crafters and gatherers will see more of this in the future. It's the prototype system for gating crafter and gatherer progress, and it's one that would appeal to SE and their distaste for omnicrafters.
As for 4* crafting? I imagine it's working as intended. Presently, crafting more resembles playing a hand of poker than it does mindless, macro-driven mass-production. Seems right up their alley.
EDIT: I neglected Ixali dailies from time to time when my focus shifted to finishing off my zodiac weapon. I'm keeping my oaknots as I still need them to make the rest of my crafter and gatherer i70 offhands (Forager's and Artisan's sets are complete at present).
Expecting the 110 accesories to come in this patch, I've started with the token items for the Master Books II and... Holy shit they are hard! O_O With almost perfect conditions (some touches failing but well distributed goods-excellents), the most quality I've been able to squeeze is 21%. The rotation I've been using, with 500 craftmanship, 407 control, and 366 CP (base 453/407/349 + Chilled Popoto), is this:

This is the most optimized rotation I've been able to think of, but still wastes 15 CP and uses one HT without Strady Hand... Any help optimizing it, or maybe this is a decent rotation and I just have to pray to RNGesus?
This guide has worked best for me with Mastercraft II turnins.

Not 100%, but certainly better than 21%.
I wouldn't be too surprised if Ixali dailies rewarded sealants in 2.5... particularly if new master books are released.
I don't think they'll want upcoming crafters to be stuck behind the sealant wall.
New mainhands - again! Hope you have your Supras!
hmm artistan apron, adept gown...? O_o
also don't see any new accessories.. i think ;/
Got all of mine, and... hope you buy my master materia's

Adept is probably the non-meldable in-between gear from AF to Artisan, like Echtal mitts. Those required mats better not be 4 star and better not be HQ. At least no MC is needed this time.
Gonna miss my big black saw![]()
No HQ stats for them though, which makes me think they're gonna be new tier 1 gear akin to artisan's specs, and will be handed out at the stall for item trade ins (prolly same trade ins as artisan specs)
Looks like what you will need to do... is...
Buy 60 (36,000 seals/3000 hunt seals) Grand Company new craft items per tool. Hope ya got many many.. MANY SEALS!
Example
600seal/50 hunt marks each Duck bone -> Creates 1X Duck broth -> 20X Duck Broth + Your Supra = New tool
Duck Broth
Duck Bones x3
Canard Breast
Thyme
Wild Onion x4
Garlean Garlic x2
Hope you stocked up on a ton of stuff, the recipes for the other classes listed on lodstone.. are scary... O_o
Capped on my character and friends with 50k seals, no new rings it seems, body gotta have, and think those are suppose to be HQ x20 or they wanna be nice ;3?
Can see here, you need 3 of those duckbone (cooking) items crafted into 1 of those items required with the supra
http://forum.neko-sentai.com/attachm...1&d=1421741451
See above, you need 20 of those
Hope ya saved some sealents, it will make your quest for the new tools.. a hell of a lot easier
changes to ixtal oaknuts vendor

I'm disappointed that we can't desynth soldiery gear. Is it really ST and i90 gear grinding to d110?
I knew I saved all of that darksteel ore/nuggets for something. HQ militia turn-ins here I come...
Kill me, please....
