I got an old macro for like 1 star 40 dura 100% quality, going to see if it would work on the craft considering how much gear has changed since I made the macro forever ago.

By the way, if anyone didn't notice, you can turn in the NQs back into the guy for the majority of the crafting mats used back.

Tried it with a modified version using hasty touch... didn't work too well >.>

Going to have to manually do them, its not too bad though I guess! 4 failed to HQ out of 20HQ needed (includes the 1 macro attempt)
Now to grind the moonstones (also chests aren't 100% moonstone, soloed a pieste map, was disappointed) ;/

Moonstones are like a 10~20% drop rate. 2 out of 10 maps.
The time is better spent farming hippoglyphs.

I am having a hard time getting the 4 star recipes unlocked for GSM and WVR. I'm 0/10 on GSM and 1/17 on WVR for the HQ. Love crafting but trying to get the HQs is so painful that I feel like I'm banging my head on the desk by continuing on as I have been. Does anyone here have a guide to help out. The one I am using involves CZ dropping at the worst times, and SH 11 for BB which rarely happens. When it does, typically I hit around 30-35%...

Those are purely rng, even with 11 IQ stacks youll only hit about 35 to 40% Quality. Need to fish for those good or excellent finishers, otherwise pray to rngesus. Kinda sucks, but dems the brakes.

That guide is good and all (I'm following it too, as per Xanthe's suggestion a few pages back), but damn... The conditions are really strict, you'll be reclaiming 90% of the tries.

No such thing as a painless way.

Either you roll the dice on getting a Good for BB or you roll the dice on getting an HQ with a regular BB.

The former takes more time and less money, the latter the other way around.

It frontloads most of the RNG involved in the synth, so you aren't wasting time on synths that you're probably going to have to reclaim anyway.

Yeah, for the guide there, if you miss 2+ hasties on your first go around, you're probably reclaiming unless if you miss exactly 2 and have a ton of TotT procs, since you might make it up in the high CP rotation part.

Did the CUL one first because.. of raiding, making HQ 4 star food a hell of a lot easier to HQ is always good (if it wasn't already easy)

Doing gsm next just to.. make doing the ixtal dailies easier, then doing the rest, just for the hell of it slowly. Personnaly, I don't even really use the other crafts.. BUT the tool may be great for lvling purposes in 3.0

Also, don't over look the skill reset books. They're not expensive to make, and I imagine there's people out there who'd be willing to pay a tidy sum to reset worthless desynth skills. Looking at you, dCUL.
