Simulacrum Gathering

Is gathering for simulacrum segments at all viable? People are killing reives so fast there are no evaluations in marjami. I also tried yorcia and those took too long to kill.

I got all the akaso needed for my geo AF via personal harvesting over the course of several days and didn't see a single segment from it.

you can farm segments from any zone, why stick to marjami or yorcia, go do some quick lair reives in foret or so

Is the chance of a higher tier increased in the newer zones? I feel like Ceizak/Yahse only give tier 1 or 2 heads from stuff.

I got a Yorcia III last night from a Ceizak Lair. Not sure of frequency, but it's possible at least.

I got a Yorcia III a little while ago as well when I was doing a colonization reive in Ceizak. Didn't even realize you could get them from the old zones and it was the only one I've gotten.

been doing foret on blu solo since it's technically 10 reives per cycle + any lairs. 2 cycles and best drop was t3 torso

I've gotten a Rala V and legs V from lair reives in Foret. Too bad it wasn't a body.

Making capes drop everywhere would really help spread people out.

Especially since 99% of the playerbase just zergs reives (esp Lairs) making drops even more annoying to get.

O.o I've done about 800k bayld in reives past couple of weeks still no 4/5 heads. I've seen some people sell multiples on ffxiah. What is the secret?!

RNG Luck. Got 1 V and 2 IV Yorcia heads, V Torso doing nothing special in around 400k bayld.

At least on Bahamut ppl seem to catch on that being nice and not raping Lairs benefits everyone. Will usually keep it at low % till at least 1 evaluation tick through.

Yeah, I'll confirm that- Ceizak/Yahse will drop at least up to III-level segments, as that's all I did prior to Skirmish. I've seen Rala, Yorica, and Weald III-heads there, though most of the body/leg pieces I find there are I's.

If you're having trouble finding places to farm, underground > surface zones by far. Gates areas tend to be far less populated than the waypoint-laden surface Reives since people have to actually run around in slightly aggro-laden areas.
