I havent had any errors since EA started and only time i had issues is when servers went down. But that dont bother me and won't divert me from sticking with the game cause i got other stuff going on in my life than spamming the play button on a video game. I dont understand why people devote themselves to a game then say RL > game? Yall just need to chill they will work this stuff out.

Eat a dick? I work full time and go to school just short of full time and got to play maybe an hour this weekend.

Adding more servers won't solve the problem. The servers are fine, the issue is with the Duty server being overloaded.

Huh? Many NA servers are packed, which is why there are "queues" and noone can get in the game.

Well, if you're talking about the situation right now - NA's are sleeping and most EU's are still working/in school. If there were still connection issues right now SE could never get their shit together in time lol.

Ragnarok is fine now and has been for the last 10 hours or so, but it's probably the least populated of the legacy servers so I can't speak for everyone else.

Its safe to assume that most of their new install base has access to the game. Not sure how significant of a difference launch day will make.

Error 1017 continues. Of course it's just SE throttling the login rates, but I'd really like to play the game now.

:/ Is it a known issue that if you disconnect at any point in time while downloading the game it will not save anything to your PC and you are forced to start over from square one? Dc'd at 5.8 gigs downloaded lastnight and now I get to redownload the whole thing, huzzah.

Don't people who bought the original FFXIV 2/3 years ago get a free copy of 2.0? I downloaded the installer and logged in, but it's still asking for a registration code. And the squaresoft account login also does the same when I try to register there. Am I going to have to buy another copy of FFXIV to play it? D:

Edit: Nevermind. It was only 30 dollars to get a new copy anyway so I just bought it instead of fucking around with account support.
