Yea, I don't know if it was confirmed but there better be at least a free week of play credited to me. At least when other MMOs shit the bed you can log into the game and be told "Yo, shit is full. Stand here while you wait"; but to not even be able to get past the main menu is pretty fucking retarded.

They took the queues out for some reason.

They didn't take them out, they simply don't work that way. The queues are to limit multiple logins at the same time and have nothing to do with servers actually being full and waiting for your slot.

Right, which means the ques aren't really ques in the normal sense. They're just normal logins put on hold cause the server can only log in X amount of people at a time. How a mmo in 2013 doesn't have a real que system in place is beyond me.

Actually, the game servers themselves could take more people, but they had to put a cap because Duty Finder servers have been crashing with too many people and that is what they need to take care of - one way will be redistributing Duty Finder on smaller groups of worlds - but until this is done, they don't want to let too many people in.

Not letting people log in for the sake of allowing people who are already logged in more to do is the dumbest shit in the world. Not saying you're wrong, just saying it's beyond retarded.

Sums up my thoughts exactly. Especially when you consider you are now dealing with paying customers. People have essentially bought a product they can't play unless they spam the login servers. It's like I'm camping fafnir and his 30 second window is always up. Their excuse of "we didn't think we would be this popular so we thought servers circuit 1980 would be fine" is lol worthy

99% of the time I get in before the 15th try. Yes its annoying and hell yes the 7 days extension is the least they could do, but it still amuses me how some people act like the game has been out of their reach for more than a week. Its not even a question whether I get in or not. There's no uncertainty.

That said the weekend was brutal in the duty finder (at least one 90000 per instance) so as far as I'm concerned they can keep throttling the servers until Wednesday.

If you're getting after only 15 tries, you're either on a low pop server or exceptionally lucky. Either way, good for you but doesn't negate the experience of the majority of people here.

No, it's not. What's retarded is that every single instance uses the Duty Finder server so if that goes down you can't even progress through the main storyline or do anything at all except kill trash mobs all day long.

Or gather, or craft, or do FATEs or leves and other misc things that I can't think of.
There's lots that can be done even if you can't do those specific things.

I'd rather be doing those than nothing at all, personally.

And the majority doesn't care about doing any of that (except FATE but those get old quite fast). If the Duty Finder doesn't work there's really no point in logging on for most people.

Edit: Yeah, it's getting worse. Now even my JP character gets the "World is full" message. Wednesday can't come fast enough... I hate losing instances because I d/c and it takes me 10-15 minutes to log back in if I'm lucky.

This is insane I have a 1/100 chance it find the NA/EU servers, and then I get three shots to log in before is 20002's and crashes sending me back into the "unable to find NA/EU data centers". Slamming enter over and over and over again was terrible, but having to restart the client every time is ridiculous.

Well...the fact that people are still hammering the servers to get in is a show of how much they want to play, i thought would of died down a bit now with all this shite so in someway the must be doing something right with the game for people to still be going at it this long.
