I almost want to call bullshit. How many weeks you been in Coil? If you have 3 bards and are passing on shit that means you've ran one or more turns at least 4 times and had the same slot BRD drop each time. Game has only been out so long, and I doubt you were in Coil week 1.

Regardless, your anecdotal nonsense is not the norm.

Ya got told son, I'm no mathologist, but the chances that you guys have two bards, and they have every piece from turns 1-4 are probably pretty god damn low. Even assuming their buying two AF90 pieces (I just came up with that I'm god damn smart) the odds are still god damn low. Even worse if they +1'd the bow, even worse if three bards.

Hahaha Yes, I "Got Told" since you guys seem to have taken my comment so far. My comment was to the first one that said 2015 and yes I know that it was an exaggerated joke, but yes still the fact remains that if you run coil at a consistent bases it really isn't that hard to gear up. Kind of makes me worry that Crystal Tower Will be useless by the time it comes around with everyone getting af2 and allagan gear.

It's like that for most classes. Drg gear is laughable now. Since people already have them or even close to maxing out on everything except turn 5 stuff obviously.

My point was the whole coil af2 thing is rather easy to max out on one class and it certainly isn't going to take a year. Hell for many people by the time crystal tower comes out we won't need to touch it for gear.

3 BRDS with 2-3 pieces of Allagan each isn't exactly fully allagan geared, although it does look like you guys have had good luck with BRD drops. Surely you understand this isn't the case for all of us however.

Most of the BRD relic is better than Allagan.

Yes I completely agree and understand. Haha, was just confused since people seemed to take my comments as if I was trolling or starting something and I never once stated that they were fully geared with allagan (no clue where three people got that random comment from). I said that gear was already being passed on because all the bards have it. As I stated I just don't believe it is one of those things that will "Take forever" like people claim. As you see with the the drg I posted or two of our blms, are almost fully geared in every slot from coil except for what drops in turn 5. I completely understand the cap for mytho and the week long cooldown on coil. Because people would cap out damn fast and then complain that there is nothing to do.

We've been in Coil for like 4 weeks and have only seen two BRD drops. One bracelets of aiming for myself and one ring of aiming for another BRD. We have like 6 BRDs in the group because it was such a popular job in 1.0, but obviously only two of us will be gearing it.

They're the same ilvl, same STR/DEX/INT/MND/VIT/DEF/MDEF values, the only things that are different are which secondary stats are present.

Question, how much accuracy do I need in Coil on BRD? Rumor says 470 but some say 450 is enough?

The higher the floor, the more accuracy.

470 is the number given to cap on floor 4/5, what you want to have available by the time you get there.

On the same subject, I am slghtly curious about how much DET you guys running with? Mine seems awfully low, and I am mostly geared for crits rate... I am wondering if my DPS would go up with more.

Why the hell do none of the i90 wrists have crit? Got Braclets of Aiming from Turn 1, would 5ish DEX beat out the 9 crit on DL Braclets?

Supposedly best accs are: Heros Wrists, Ring, Ears, waist and then Allagan Ring & Neck. For armor it's Allagan Head & Feet the best, others is AF2. This is my plan anyways, will end in 481 Acc for coil, 525 Crit, 258 Det, 410 Skillspeed & 497 DEX. Seeya in 2015 by the time I finish 5 more Myth pieces.

Just picked up my BRD legs, can't wait to try these bad boys out, upgrading from Toxotes so the jump is hooge.
