Oh more than likely, but with food(I always use deviled in coil) I'll be sitting at 544 Crit Hit Chance, it's more than enough.

This would end up at ~ 481 Accuracy for coil, 525 Crit Chance(More than enough), 258 Det, 410 Skill Speed, 497 Dex which is 497 Attack power.

What is this "more than enough" stuff on +crit? What does that even mean?

Do you mean you crit every time? Your BL refreshes every 3 seconds once you have VB/WB applied? You kill everything in the game easily?

Isn't this like saying, "my bow is D37, that's more than enough so I'm good"?

idk theres gotta be some kinda diminishing returns on crit or no? just stack until the end of time? genuinely asking because I haven't really seen the math (although it may have been posted)

I read it as "more than enough [to be able to clear Coil]", not that there's some kind of ceiling to it, but it is certainly an odd thing to say.

If there's a way to do it, I don't know it. I'd kill to have a six-slot hot bar with all of my CDs on it so I know timers on them coming back up. There is NO space on my cross bar for all of that shit.

I know on PC, you can add vertical hotbars to the screen even in XHB mode. That would work fine for watching timers.

It's as in, I crit a lot right now even with less crit than my goal. You think stacking crit to 999 will be enough? It's like saying, oh my acc is 481, it's more than enough for coil. Coil is the highest content their is, you really think stacking 600 crit and sacrificing other stats is worth it? BL procs loads right now, if it crits anymore you'll never have the time to fire it tbh, from what I've noticed anyways.

"More than enough" accuracy means your accuracy is at/near the cap.
I'm pretty sure your crit isn't at the cap, so "more than enough" doesn't apply.

I wouldn't sacrifice +crit to get more +DTR. That doesn't mean I have more than enough determination; it means I want other stats more.

"More than enough" is kind of a sketchy way of implying that adding more won't do anything. Adding more +crit will still do plenty.

If it was reset at every possible opportunity you'd still have time to fire it.

Blunt Arrow, when able, yes. Repelling Shot, no. I've never really found a way to work it into my play very effectively or haven't really tried that much. How do you use it generally?

I have it on the same macro as Blunt Arrow and spam them both between GCDs (when I don't need to save silence).

Obviously, IF you are able to hit BL/ME when they pop, not using macros will be better but it's going to be harder to keep track of everything.

I would say one thing you are missing out on is using your atk buffs for your dots. I usually try to use my buffs right before I start my dot rotation.

My personal "start of a mob" rotation is;

Use all buffs>SS/BL>WB>Blunt>VB>Flaming>Repelling and any BLs that pop during. My buffs usually wear off shortly after the full rotation. Then just HS/BL spam until dots need to be reapplied, buffs come back or Blunt/Repel come up. I also tend to Battle Voice>Foe's for Bosses if we are super speed running (help's on flaming and I assume Windbite dmg) or have a bunch of BLMs for something.

Repelling is pretty easy to use once you get used to it, just run at a mob and use it, lol. After some practice, knowing the distance/where you will land comes naturally, I use it on pretty much everything now w/o issue (Garuda w/Tornados up/Demon Wall/Titan).

Reading around, it seems Foe doesn't affect any of BRD's damage, including Flaming Arrow. It's there to buff BLM, SMN, and WHM's damage.

Speaking of Repelling Shot, does anyone else just have it glitch out when using it? Occasionally, I'll use it on a boss and I'll just stop mid-air before completing the animation. It doesn't eat my cooldown because the skill never completed (so I did no damage and basically just did nothing). The boss is still in full view and I didn't get LOS so I'm not completely sure why the hell this happens.

I've had it happen on repelling, usually when something dies/moves but once in awhile idk why it glitches.

I don't get why Foe's wouldn't work for Flaming/Windbite, they both say elemental dmg. I guess I'll have to hit a training dummy and check.

Even tried with BV just to be sure.

It's a thing, been attested to by multiple people (myself included).

Macro'd skills can't pre-empt the GCD like skills normally placed on the bar.
