I get slightly different results from you. Does this measure up with the values you entered? I removed food from the stats to make the two builds equivalent (since my listed stats did not include HQ Deviled Eggs). Valk's formula also has some fudge numbers you need to apply to bard (+3 to DEX in this case since we're in the 400-500 range).

41 crit rate gives us about 2.86% additional crit rate, which means 2.86% more Bloodletter shots. Since Bloodletter is also 150 potency we'll go ahead and include an additional 2.86% DPS to the Elfin set:

90.341 * 1.0286 = 92.611 crit adjusted DPS, delta of 0.425 DPS in favor of the Allagan build.

I'm not sure if that's a legitimate way to correct for that difference but it seems logical at least. It's certainly a bigger increase than I was expecting, and I'll admit that the two builds are a lot closer together than I initially said, with these numbers suggesting that the Allagan build might be better.

EDIT: Results changed because I realized that I hadn't actually subtracted the food crit from the Elfin build even though I said I had.

Hahaha, titan bow is now better than NQ artifact bow. I'm using that now until I get +1 or Elfin.

It's because you're quoting Damage Per Second increases whereas I'm quoting Absolute Damage increases. The DPS increase is a decent difference because of the large gap in skill speed. But a large percent of our damage (Venomous Bite, Windbite, Bloodletter) doesn't care about the difference in skill speed, which is why I look at absolute damage (per hit) to get a more correct baseline on comparisons.

It may be a tooltip error....

Quick test on test dummy (10 shots)

Heavy shot (150 pot): 208-226, average 216.5
Straight shot (130?): 193-212, average 202.3
Bloodletter (130?): 208-227, average 215.8

Definitely a tooltip error. Tested myself and bloodletter does exactly the same damage as heavy shot. I don't know about straight shot, though.

Its on the npc next to Rewonaorwhateverhernameisspelled. need 3 tokens for it. prob need to do 3 of the primals to get it ya.

yeah that's the same set-up I came to while playing around with this gear calculator(http://www.ariyala.com/ffxiv/gear.html) prior to servers being up with 2.1. All I need is the boots, ifrit/garuda acc drops now.

Quick question: does anyone else have TP problems after the update? I noticed that I'm running out of TP way faster than before, pretty sure my CGD was higher before the update, too. And a couple of other BRDs from my FC confirmed that they have that "issue". Is it possible that they did something to the Skill Speed stat?

Since I haven't had to use RoD for anything I've had no problems with TP ever unless I spammed aoes nonstop. Or unless there was a selene.
