Minor brain fart there; Replaced Zenith with Elfin in my mind. For your bard mytho upgrades.. I'd probably say ears > feet > head in order of importance. Head is just trading 6acc for 6crit. Allagan feet are better than bards, but those fuckers never want to drop. But both don't have accuracy so that's a great way to lose it. Garuda's Ring is also really nice and has no acc, and it's a fairly easy fight.

Yeah those swaps from Allagan -> Myth are pretty marginal so will go on the back burner. I'll probably just wait for Allagan boots. Rinsing Ultima is the only reason my Acc is so high at the moment really. Farming Garuda might take a while with the state of the DF/PF groups on Tonberry. Cleared it yesterday but ugh, I need a bit of time to purge that from my system. Seems like my acc will come down to more sane levels quite naturally as I progress through the content.

I can't finish the 5th meld on either of my gryph ring + choker. About 25 fails on each and I basically just said fuck it.

got so pissed at the 3rd meld on some earrings took like 20 fucking times so much damn wasted gil, then 4th and 5th were 1/1. I didn't know whether to be happy or pissed.

~22 total attempts for meld 3+4+5? That's an amazingly great outcome.

Did 2216 hits in turn 5 with 471 accuracy for science and missed one attack.

I'm also running Turn 5 right now with that exact amount of accuracy. I'm not running a parser, but I too have only noticed one miss (ironically, on one of the little phase-1 adds and not twin itself).

Picked up Elfin Bow yesterday and dropped all my "acc gear" (ie allagan ring for vortex,etc) and ended up increasing my dps by nearly 100 points on our second run through of the ex primals. Needless to say, I had to change my pants after looking over the parses, this bow and no acc set is beastly.

Ended up figuring out I could use it for Coil as well, since I am still using DL Neck(I'm cheap and don't feel like melding gryph neck and allagan doesn't exist) though it required me dropping Hero's Belt for DL. (which is a fine tradeoff cause I never bothered to upgrade to Zenith Bow) I didn't jump 100 dps on Twin but still increased it by a decent amount, which was nice.

I'm trying, apparently Ultima is super hard for pf ppl to do though and nobody in my fc/lses really feel like getting anything from him, lol. I've joined like 5 parties today, killed him once.

I'm debating picking up Ballad Sash next week too, to replace dl belt for my new Coil set but I was using CT to gear up other jobs.

This is what I'm currently using; grabbed the hat this week, and next week I was thinking of grabbing the Myth Ring to replace my Darklight as the next biggest upgrade. Then the following week, grabbing the Myth Belt to replace Allagan. From there, I'm not sure what order to grab the remaining accessories in. The intent is to keep the Inferno Bangles though, and pending RNG, grab the Allagan Feet/Legs/Bow; mixed with the Myth accessories, will keep my Acc at around 483.

I think you dropped more crit than the Elfin bow gives you in order to get the acc required to use the Elfin bow.

tbh, I'd get rid of the garbage legs and/or feet and switch to acc food. Gear with acc+skill speed kinda makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

So far my Bard's gear has all been based around what's ended up dropping to me as a secondary class; I dinged 50 into Elfin the Bow, rather than having it leveled with a previous set, then moved towards compensating the no accuracy that the Elfin Bow has. Are you referring to what I currently have, or what I'm working towards? If it's what I currently have (which is CT/Ballad) then it's whatever; they're only temporary pieces anyway and I can't be bothered to replace temporary pieces with more temporary pieces.
