Yeah im going to start on mytho pieces next week. Thinking of getting my 900 pieces out of the way first so legs > body > +1 bow if I dont complete elfin by this time. Then work on other pieces based on the biggest gains. I probably wont be doing any coil pieces anytime soon, nor will I be using brd in coil, so BiS is not a priority. I still want to get it hitting as hard as posible though.

Eh, sounds like a good plan. I'd say hat, ring and earrings are your big myth upgrades outside of the ones you mentioned. The hands are good too, but since you're not going into Coil with it it might not be such a big deal. I think it's a bigger upgrade per myth to get the non-900 pieces first but probably not a big deal.

Would the same logic hold for Ballad Sarouel vs Gryphonskin Kecks melded with 27 Crit?

I'd keep the Gryphonskin over the Ballad.

She could get Ballad Gauntlets for hands (if she doesn't already have them), they are good enough that she could leave Bard's Ringbands as the very last myth upgrade for BRD.

Yeah I have ballad hands already, so I'll make bard hands the last upgrade. I was wanting to do my 900 pieces first because I hate waiting 2 weeks without an upgrade (and yes I understand that mytho body and legs dont actually cost 900...just call them that because it takes 2 weeks to get the mytho for them).

Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone. I'll just shoot for ballad feet this week, belt next week, and start mytho from there.

Do you actually have 320 Determination with out food with your gear? Just wondering because I'm Ilvl 80 and only have 272, which nets me 13/16 Determination using HQ Buttons versus 14 Critical hit I lose (531 base) swapping from HQ Deviled Eggs. I was just looking to see if HQ Buttons might be a viable option for me now or maybe in the future since they are a lot easier to make than Deviled Eggs. (One farmed item/1 fished item vs all Botany/NPC mats).

Hmm, so you're at 13 Determination also, don't get 14 from HQ Buttons until 280. 13 Determination is better than 14 Critical hit for you? Would it be ok with me as well, or do I need more Crit before I can use them? (531 atm).

I don't really use them cause they are "better" or anything. I just use them cause I have like 90m of them for monk and I only use them, if I use anything, on stuff that doesn't really matter.

Given that introduction, I assume you're not using this in coil, so ignoring accuracy... I'd probably do ring > earring > body > whatever

Insert myth feet in there somewhere if you don't expect to nab allagan feet anytime soon and you don't mind blowing myth on an inferior item (personally, I just use CT feet until they drop).

I realize there's no continuous DPS rotation because everything has different CD's, but is there a standard opening rotation that works best to start a fight? We should only be trying to squeeze one non-GCD ability in between GCD's, right?

Something like this GCD > Non-GCD > GCD > Non-GCD rotation?:
Raging Strikes > Straight Shot > Internal Release > Venomous Bite > Hawk's Eye > Windbite > Bloodletter > Barrage

Also, I know Blood for Blood will be situational, but when it's ok to use, should I get that up before the DoTs?

I'm just trying to optimize the opening rotation as much as possible. Any input is appreciated.

I usually open with SS + BL > Quelling strikes > IR + Windbite > Hawk + Venemous > Raging + Bfb + Barrage > HS/BL > Flaming Arrow > reapply dots before buffs wear. Usually get two full dot rotations and barrage with all buffs. Could probably change it, but egh.

My opening rotation is generally...

Qs >ir > wb > b4b > vb > raging > str8 > bloodletter > heavy > hawk > heavy/bloodletter > barrage > heavy/bloodletter > shadowbind > heavy/bloodletter > silence. By then ir should be back up and should be time to reapply dots.

464 is alot lower than I would have expected on Turn 5. Thanks for this. Gives me more incentive to retire Artemis Zenith and pick up Elfin Bow.

Garuda Ring and Ifrit Bracelet are easy gets. Other than that, T4 Allagan neck and feet. Also hear that the CT Feet are decent if T4 is being a bitch, but I honestly haven't looked at the stats...but by iLvl alone they should be better than DL and relatively easy to get.

Not a far cry from what I'm using at the moment.

Easiest upgrade would be CT feet (or myth feet, but I refuse to buy them, so I can't advise anyone else to either).

If primal EXs aren't out of the question, I'd swap the Ultima Ring out for Garuda Ring and Allagan Wrists for Ifrit Wrists. Elfin Bow would also be nice for situations where accuracy is not a concern (or possibly even when it is, if you swap to HQ Stuffed Cabbage and don't mind a miss here and there).

As said above, Allagan feet/neck are obviously the go-to items for those slots, but since you only get 1 chance a week at them, who knows how long that might take.

Yeah CT boots are on my list to get. Primals are feasible, my team can farm Garuda for the ring but i will need to beat titan to get the ifrit bracelet then it seems. I personally dont think the allagan necklace or garuda ring is very good, unless i am to believe the extra dex alone compensates for the loss of accuracy/crit in exchange for skill speed.
